Best Pet friendly Hotels in EL Nido

My kids were very happy to experience glamping for the first time in the relatively new glamping villas of Karuna El Nido. Their staff were helpful and accommodating, the food was always satisfying and transportation was provided for guests who wanted to explore other parts of El Nido. Being new, of course there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of smooth and more excellent service. Having a great view also means it is high up on a hill and when you want to eat in their dining hall, there are a lot of steps to tackle on the stairs. Be ready. Also, this becomes a little bit of inconvenience when it rains. Because it was raining a lot of times when we were there, we did not get to enjoy the outside facilities provided in our villa. There was also some construction work ongoing just below our space so of course that was inconvenient too. The roads are being paved so be ready to tread through muddy roads. We hope to get a chance to visit again and see the improvements already done when we do.

Very attentive service at reception and in the restaurant. All staff are friendly and all greet you (even cleaning / grounds / security staff). Great location right on the beach. Reasonable meal prices and reasonable drinks. The rooms are clean and appear to be recently renovated. Aircon and hot water all work well. Unlimited drinking water for your room. Be aware that there is no fridge in the room. Also, there is no daily cleaning of the room unless you request it.

The only other aspect unmatched by the beauty of the island is the service provided by the Lihim staff. My wife, sister-in-law, and I were fortunate enough to have the assistance of Eunice and Mars during our 4 day, 3 night stay in the villas. Our itinerary was nothing short of smooth all thanks to Eunice and Mars, even when we kept changing our minds on what we wanted to do on different days. Need a ride to the villa up the hill? They provided every time. Need a walking cane because you accidentally injured yourself during your island hopping tours? Eunice and Mars were prompt with calling for first aid assistance. Forgot to apply sunscreen on your shoulders while island hopping and now you're sunburnt? Well, you're a grown adult and should have been more prepared. Don't expect other people to undo your sunburn for you. That being said, not even an inconvenient sunburn could undo the enjoyment that was had thanks to the help of the lovely staff. In short, a stay at Lihim Resorts isn't complete without the exceptional service provided by the Lihim staff- Eunice and Mars. If their assistance isn't enough to make your stay enjoyable, then nothing will make you happy.

We arrived at this hotel after we cancelled a more expensive, horrendous hotel further up the road. There is nothing bad about this place... Its perfect! The rooms are clean, light and airy.. The bed is comfy and the deck area is stunning... You are literally on the beach. Everything works in it including the TV and Ac. The breakfast is good... I just wish they would add pancakes to the menu! The WiFi can be hit and miss but that is everywhere here so it's not a problem. There is a gorgeous resident cat and her kitten on site and as cat lovers we just loved them... Unfortunately we couldn't smuggle them home :) Overall this hotel saved my stay in el nido and turned what could have been a disaster into a dream... The staff can't do enough for you and I thank them for being so attentive. Gutted to be leaving but if you are after a comfortable, clean and happy stay ... Give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed!!

We had taken a room with private swimming pool, the room was very typical in bamboo but awful in terms of comfort not insonorized at all, impossible to close the eye of the night because cocks and dogs cry all night... The first impression was just horrible. Taken a group tour and within his program, we all, in the size of 7, were settled in this place. The room is very close: the baggage is essentially hard to build so that it doesn't interfere under the feet. Although the room was eventually with two beds: one big and the other small. Still in this space we had a small cabinet and we had everything worked and nothing smelled. We stayed in a big plus. The rest were lucky less: It smelled, didn't work hot water, there was no chair and even the Internet barachlid more often than we (successful second floor). And although with great hardship and a couple of days later, part of our group moved to the same second floor - the Internet we worked better. Cleaning, if I correctly understood, on request. Breakfast as in all hotels of this category and on the ball above, scarce. The cottages are lovely and clean located near the beach. You can totally relax away from el nido and still go for dinner at a nice restaurant just by walking along the beach (takes around 20-30 min to walk to vanilla beach and have to consider the tide!). The breakfast was good, but otherwise we wouldn't recommend eating there - we tried the new year's eve dinner which was overpriced and a normal dinner when we got cold meat and seafood in a vegetarian dish! Also the food didn't come at the same time, so you couldn'r really enjoy eating with your partner. We booked through agoda and they didn't answer any of our emails or calls. The day of our arrival we finally got someone who answered the phone and organised a private transfer from puerto princesa ( around 6500 pesos). They also have a free ride by golf cart from mcdonalds/ vanilla beach to the resort. If you want to go to el nido a tricylce from mcdonals costs 150pesos.
