Great hotel with great views! Not new, but everything is well maintained. There is a lot of greenery on the territory. Delicious and varied breakfast (even delicious sausage, not cardboard :)) and dinner. Friendly and unobtrusive staff. Downtown is a 5-minute leisurely walk away.

After 12 times of Egypt in the same fine resort, we wanted to try something different. We decided to take a sort of “test vacation” at Panorama Bungalows El Gouna for a week. We liked it so much that we promptly added two more weeks in December. It is registered as a 4 star hotel but we thought it was definitely worth a 5 star. Wonderful unique setting, daily boat trip to the beach (which is also easily reached by a short walk), very friendly staff and delicious, varied food. By the way, you notice that the staff is REALLY friendly, there is a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Within walking distance is “downtown” where you feel more like in Saint-Tropez than in Egypt, and at half the price of Europe. Short trips are made by “TukTuk” for the price of one Euro, a charming three-wheeled cart that actually originated in Italy. Also, the local über-taxis are very convenient and certainly not expensive (a ride from El Gouna to the Airport in Hurghada comes to about 6 Euro or sometimes even less). In short, an exceptionally successful vacation and definitely worth recommending.

This was our second visit to this hotel .We had a pool bungalow . It was modern with a huge bed and lovely terrace which got the sun all day . The hotel itself is beautiful . The breakfast is great . Loads of choice and fried eggs , omelette, waffles and pancakes cooked to order . Lunch was good also with lots of choice and also meats cooked on barbecue. I felt the evening meal wasn't up to the same standard but still could find something to eat. It's the staff that make this hotel though , all so friendly and can't do enough for you .Towels put down for you by the pool man in the morning so you can have the same sun beds and there are plenty to go around .Drinks by the pool are there by the time you've finished one , You can also go by boat to zetouna beach where the all inclusive is still available and the staff there are equally great . They all work hard to make you're holiday a fabulous experience and they succeed . Need to mention the waiter Hussain who was fabulous at his job and so friendly. Also Boda from animation . He takes his time to get to know the guests , he has a great personality and humour . That along with his enthusiasm and energy made our holiday . The only other thing I would say the hotel needs is for the pool to be heated in winter as it was to cold to use . Apart from that I highly recommend this hotel .

Geweldig hotel! Het personeel zal er alles aan doen om je een onvergetelijke tijd te bezorgen. Niets is hen teveel. Het eten is gevarieerd, voor ieder wat wils en lekker! Kamers iets gedateerd maar prima bedden. Schoonmaak ook top. Zaytouna beach ook de moeite waard, hier kun je met een bootje naar toe. Gratis handdoekservice. Prijs/kwaliteit perfect.

Het fijne aan El Gouna is het dat het een gated community is. Dit maakte het voor mij als solo reiziger een ideale bestemming. Resort is ook erg fijn en heeft goede faciliteiten. Mijn oorspronkelijke kamer was naast een autoweg, als lichte slaper vond ik dit niet zo fijn. Echter bood het resort aan om van kamer te wisselen. Mijn nieuwe kamer was top en had een geweldige uitzicht. Ik vond de al 3 a la carte restaurants prima. Dit geldt ook voor het hoofdrestaurant. Ik heb zelf geen gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad, aangezien het water te koud was voor mij persoonlijk. Je kan per boot naar het privé strand, dit was heerlijk liggen in de zon. De avond entertainment was meer dan prima. Personeel is erg behulpzaam en betrokken. Verder zijn er momenteel werkzaamheden aan de gang, maar hierbij je minimale last van. Enige min punt is de geldautomaat voor de ingang van het resort. Ik heb getracht om geld te pinnen, maar nadat ik mijn transactie heb geannuleerd vanwege de lage koerswisseling bleek het geld toch van mijn rekening te zijn afgeschreven. Volgens de manager van het resort gebeurt het wel vaker, dus ik zou het afraden om deze te gebruiken. Maar downtown wat op 5 á 7 minuten lopen is een geldautomaat te zoeken, daar zijn er meer dan genoeg van.
