Hotel Michelangelo

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, a solo dos cuadras de la calle principal y a pocas cuadras de la Reserva Natural 'Laguna Nimez'. El personal es muy atento y agradable, siempre dispuesto a resolver cualquier duda. No solo respondieron todas mis consultas, sino que también me asesoraron sobre las actividades para hacer en la zona, e incluso se encargaban de hacer las reservas por mí si era necesario. El desayuno es muy completo y variado, ofreciendo no solo opciones con harinas, sino también una buena selección de frutas y comida caliente. Además, el hotel cuenta con un restaurante para cenar que me pareció económico en comparación con los precios del centro, con un menú variado y un excelente servicio. La habitación estaba bien en general, aunque la cama podría haber sido un poco más grande. A pesar de eso, fue cómoda y descansé bien. Aunque el hotel tiene cochera, no la utilicé, por lo que no puedo opinar al respecto. Sin embargo, estoy seguro de que si vuelvo a El Calafate, me alojaría nuevamente en Michelangelo Hotel.

Soggiornato per due notti in questo hotel per escursione a Perito Moreno. Si trova a 3 minuti dal centro cittá con ristoranti e negozi. Hotel monopiano, stile baita di montagna, con salotto e camino, posdibilitá di pranzo e cena. Colazione continentale per tutti i gusti, abbondante e varia. Possibilità a pagamento di farsi fare il pranzo per il giorno successivo, comodissimo per le escursioni. Camera pulita e personale gentile e disponibile, consigliato.

Excelente atención, personal servicial sin ser intrusivos la medida perfecta, instalaciones muy cómodas tanto espacios comunes como habitación, desayuno variado y fresco, lo mas importante, muy rico todo. Excelente ubicación a dos cuadras del centro.

Comfortable, clean hotel, very polite staff, close to the center, good breakfast, a choice of great dishes in the restaurant, especially when you return tired from your trip. The only issue is the acoustics of the rooms, especially those with a locked door from one to the other, you end up hearing more from the other room. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

It really was a super positive experience!!! Beautiful place, central, impeccable, excellent attention from all the staff from Ornella when she welcomed us, to the guys at the concierge who I don't remember their names, the cleaning staff, the breakfast girl. I want to make a special mention to Lucas from the restaurant that we went to dinner on my birthday and he was so attentive to us with the delicious dessert and the toast he offered us, that shows excellent customer service. I also want to highlight the exquisite cuisine, congratulations to the Chef, the ambiance and also the attention of Brandon who served us on the last night we were there. I forgot the delicious breakfast!! It really is an EXCELLENT hotel in all its aspects and Super Recommended.

A pleasant surprise. Well tidy, with good heating and a very adequate breakfast. Well located, in the city center. Excellent value for money, as it is not very expensive compared to other options in the city. We were very well looked after.

The hotel is very well located, two blocks from the center. The rooms clean and comfortable. The attention of the staff is very friendly and the best thing is that the Hotel's restaurant offers an exquisite menu. I would definitely return.

Tiny El Calafate has few accommodation options and therefore the competition is very high. For those who are going to spend the whole day out sightseeing and just want a cozy place for the night, the Michelangelo fits perfectly into that expectation. It takes less than 20 minutes by taxi from the airport at a fixed cost of 12,000 pesos, with a 10% surcharge on credit card payments, which you must inform the taxi driver in advance. The return costs 9000 pesos. As everything is very small and close by, you can say that the hotel's location is perfect, everything is within a few blocks: restaurants, laundry, agencies, shops and much more. There are just under 30 rooms arranged in half a block, small but sufficient, with a wardrobe, safe, TV, desk and underfloor heating. The bathroom is a good size, the shower is very good but it gets the whole floor wet and the extractor fan is not enough. The internet is the only negative point to mention, it is not reliable. You have to log in again each time you use it and it goes down during a call or sending an email. Just adapt the connection to perennial and everything will be resolved. Matias, Facundo, Lucas and Ornela put on a show at the reception, they are extremely helpful and cooperative. Breakfast is simple and better than many 4-star hotels in Brazil, starting at 6:30am. The Buona restaurant, now available here on the portal for reviews, rejects the prejudice that a hotel restaurant is bad and expensive. Michelangelo is the safest choice for El Calafate and its unique beauties.
