Hotel Parkzicht Eindhoven

Wij zijn al meerdere malen in dit hotel geweest en gaan nog terug. Alles in orde, ruime kamers, vriendelijk personeel, uitgebreid ontbijt, gemakkelijk en gratis parkeren. Lekker eten in restaurant. Geen lift maar gemakkelijke trappen. Vroeger was er een kleine attentie voor verjaardag of huwelijksverjaardag maar dat wordt blijkbaar niet meer gedaan.

Echt personeel super aardig en het verblijf super netjes

Without active reminder I booked this hotel last year via hotel deals. The confirmation of this probably ended up in my spam box at the time. Now you would expect from a good hotel that you would receive some emails from the hotel itself shortly beforehand that you are expected with check-in time and check-out etc. However, I never received these emails. Suddenly on a Saturday morning I suddenly received an email about a no show, yes this email did arrive. I also received a phone call as a follow-up to this email. Over the phone I was kindly explained that I had booked for 2 nights and that I had just missed the 1st night. The 2nd night that was yet to come could also no longer be cancelled. Unfortunately I had to pay a bill of 498 euros. Fortunately I could still be reassured, because I did not have to pay tourist tax. I looked in my mailbox to see if I had received any emails somewhere that I was being waited for. After all, the no show email does come in. But these cannot be found. If I had received these emails, I would have been able to cancel the hotel on time. Not entirely my fault I thought. I have contacted the front office manager a few times. She has also called me a few times, I think more to make herself feel better that she really can't do anything about it, than to make me pay those 498 euros. They could not look into why those automatic emails did not arrive. I have just transferred the money. I hope this will be used to improve their software regarding emails.
