We arrived at the Astral Palma hotel on January 11, 2024 almost at midnight, a couple + a 7 year old child, called during the day to find out if everything was ready and if there would be a reception at night. The girl confirmed that everything was ready, the envelope was in front of her. Upon arrival, it turned out that there was no sleeping place for the child in the room. The receptionist Dudu tried his best to solve the problem. But the shift manager met me in the lobby and said that nothing could be done, the hotel was full, and neither a mattress nor a bed could be added to the room. For some reason, I spoke very rudely to Dudu right in front of the clients, so that he wouldn’t promise something he didn’t. And he just went home. After a night with the three of us sharing the same bed, we left. I will add a plus for the work of Dudu and the cleaner, the room was incredibly clean. Well done, despite how busy the hotel was, they did 10 percent of their job.

We stayed at the Astrol Palma from November 2023 for sometime and found the hotel, it's staff and especially the food to be excellent. The food here is better than some of the big hotels in the area.We would recommend this hotel very higher

The Waiting to get the room taks hours .the customer service very bad and not friendly at all. The hotel is very dirty ,The team service are awful for sure i will not come back to this hotel I am very disappointed

Long overdue. Hate writing negative reviews but our experience was so underwhelming and so expensive at the same time I feel I have a duty to warn would-be customers. We had an overall poor experience at this hotel. Paid a hefty sum of money for barely acceptable rooms. “Access to the beach” is a lie: you have access to a small piece of dirty land filled with dirty pebbles. Go to a different hotel if you want real access to a real beach (like Royal Beach). There was simply NO customer service whatsoever which is truly infuriating considering the amount of money you spend there. Every time I had to interact with the reception, I would find a twenty-something associate utterly indifferent to my concerns / requests. No one in the hotel seems to be trained to offer just mediocre customer service. There is no care, let alone no pride in assisting patrons. The food at breakfast, a staple in most 4-5 stars hotels in Israel, was hugely disappointing. Nothing was fresh, good or home made. Everything felt and tasted like straight out of the box. Some big things missing like smoked salmon, fresh fruits (available ones from cans, in syrup)… Whether it’s the industrial eggs or the frozen breads, literally everything was pre-prepared. Check the photos with comments. Huge, huge, huge let down. Rooms often not cleaned properly with details that will make you cringe. Absolutely positive my family and I will never go back.
