Warwick le Lagon Resort & Spa, Vanuatu
4.1/552 Reviews
We stayed at 5 different Resorts in Port Vila Vanuatu and this was by far our favourite! Immediately when arriving in the lobby you will be wowed, the location and resort is incredible. The staff are so friendly and the food is fantastic. There are so many on-site facilities and water equipment to take advantage of and the Lagoon is a great place to swim or even take a boat ride through. We didn't want to leave, this place is definitely a little haven and wr are 100% staying here next time we're back in Poet Vila. Thank you Warwick Le Lagoon, you are SUPERB to say the least, love how much the people here really value the guests. You feel appreciated and welcome here and it's great 👍 😁
Breakas Beach Resort
4.1/541 Reviews
Overall we enjoyed our 3 nights stay at Breakas. We had an ocean view room which had a stunning view. The dinners poolside had a lovely ambience and the food was delicious. We highly recommend the seafood pizza, G.C.O prawns and seafood scoglio. It’s in a nice location, only a short ride by local bus to the main part of town. It is also walking distance to Three Pigs and Cafe Vila which also have delicious food. We loved the band singing on the beach Monday night but weren’t aware of it until returning from dinner out. We recommend a sheet detailing special performances and the like is given to guests upon check in. The included breakfast could do with some improvements by adding things like herbal teas and different juices. We also had a massage at the resort. Perhaps with some further training for staff this will improve but for now we would not recommend. Having stayed a previous 4 nights at Paradise Cove Resort we were a little disappointed in the service and friendliness of staff at the main desk. At times there was no one at reception and the bell to ring for service didn’t work. We know of other guests who also had the same impression. It really put a dampener on the overall vibe and we felt like we were being a burden when enquiring about the littlest of things.
Ramada Resort by Wyndham Port Vila

Probably one of the swishest gaffs on the island. Decent buffet breakfast...nicely appointed rooms...quiet and away from everything. Shame the lagoon is so polluted (not (exclusively) this hotel's fault to be fair) that no one can swim in it. Good Sports bar.
Eratap Beach Resort
4.8/540 Reviews
We have just returned from Eratap Vanuatu yesterday and cannot express how much we enjoyed it and loved our holiday there. When holidaying we want to snorkel, have good food (with variety) and preferably a gym (to both keep fit and to give us an alternative if the weather turns bad). The trip to Eratap ticked all these boxes and more. It is also not that far to fly from Brisbane, and we didn’t have to travel that far to the resort from the airport. We swam daily with the most vibrant coral straight of the beach and for variety the resort had two boats which it used to transport guests as desired to many other reefs around the resort. Eratap is a fantastic place to snorkel. Usually when we travel, my husband has options on the menu’s but for me only eating white meat or vegetarian, it is often a struggle to get variety. I had no trouble this trip and had the best food options I have had at any trip to date. Adding to that, both my husband and I found the food high quality (most meals). Hats off to the chef and thank you. Eratap have a very well-equipped gym for a resort gym. It is amazing to be able to get this at a resort of its size. At Eratap we had the facilities of a big resort, with the benefit of a smaller resort so there was no overcrowding. I had a heavenly massage and heavenly is an understatement. The resort offered several events or local experiences throughout our stay. We found the fire show a spectacular way to spend one of our evenings. It was amazing and kept us glued to the show. The people of Vanuatu are lovely in particular at the resort. They are gracious and truly appreciative of guests returning (post COVID shut down). We especially want to mention Mary-Anne and Caroline who attended to our room daily and were such lovely ladies. Adding to this was the Manager Pascale who fixed any issue (not that we had many) with ease and ensured all guests were happy. There didn’t seem to be anything that was to much for her, even when we had an issue in town (which had nothing to do with the resort) she was quick to help and find a solution. The resort is lucky to have her, and she is an asset to the resort. We also want to acknowledge both Mac and Pablo who took us out to the various reef’s daily. Overall, my husband and I would struggle to find a negative thing to say about this resort. The only thing we would change is staying longer. We had the best time. I would recommend this to anyone, who enjoys snorkeling, having an island escape or just looking to totally relax. We cannot wait to return and do it all again next year.
Nasama Resort

Two restaurants both serving delicious food. Free breakfast included. Two bedroom apartments are available and cleaned daily, with full kitchens and clothes washing machine (VERY HANDY). Swimming pool and delightful beach with reef right on your doorstep. We just spent two weeks there with 11 & 14 year olds and we all loved it, can’t wait to return. Also very close to town with buses passing by literally every minute.
Erakor Island Resort & Spa
4.5/540 Reviews
We picked Erakor Island Resort for our secret elopement. We wanted a low fuss wedding and relaxing stay and Erakor handled everything and offered a great package. Beautiful location, wonderful staff, plenty of activities, great food, awesome room, I can't fault it. The fact that you basically have this whole island to yourself (and other guests) is so cool. Don't be daunted by the ferry, it's so easy to get to and from the mainland and the staff will take good care of you mo matter where you want to go. We travelled just after Vanuatu reopened to tourists and realised we had struck gold after speaking to other travellers. We met SO many people who were either staying at other locations and switched to Erakor because they weren't happy with their previous hotel, or were staying at another place and travelling to Erakor every day for the restaurant because their hotel didn't offer good food. When we arrive, the country's tourism industry seemed to be on a soft restart, which is completely understandable given it was shut down for a number of years, but you'd never know it with Erakor. They were back up and ready to go as if they never stopped operating. Getting married there was a dream and Erakor will forever be close to our hearts and part of our story. 100% going back!
