Prima hotel. Wel wat verouderd maar de kamers zien er goed verzorgd en modern uit. Gezellig en vriendelijk personeel. Prima bedden en prima restaurant voor een heerlijk diner en ontbijt. Ik zou hier zeker nog wel een keer terug komen als ik in de buurt moet zijn.

close to major freeways and nature trails. Receptionist not very helpful explaining how to get to the room. The building has been added on several times with different levels, numerous odd staircases and several elevators to negotiate to get to the room. Bathroom is odd: lots of unused floorspace, yet hardly any shelf space next to sink for toiletries. Room lacks sufficient electrical outlets.

Sinds kort het schitterende wandelgebied van de zuiderheide ontdekt, vanaf "de Witte Bergen vd Valk" prachtige wandeling gemaakt, recent per mail gevraagd of honden ook welkom zijn, hierop een nette mail teruggehad dat wij ook met hond meer dan welkom zijn. Nou... NIET dus .. 2e kerstdag 2025 om 12.45 hier naar binnen gegaan voor een lunch , werden bij de receptie netjes door verwezen naar het restaurant. Hier aangekomen bij voorste kassa/ comp scherm netjes wachtend totdat er iemand komt echterr.. er komt niemand terwijl ze met een 4/5 personen halverwege het restaurant met elkaar staan te praten. Wij vervolgens doorgelopen naar deze 4/5 man ... wederom netjes wachtend echter worden vervolgens door niemand aangesproken , ook niet door man in pak die zich vlgns mij heel belangrijk vond maar echter weinig aandacht heeft voor zijn klanten. Wilden toch nog gaan zitten maar naar mekaar even aangekeken te hebben zijn we toch maar vertrokken. Echt een heerlijk kerstgevoel hier 😭😭 Wij gaan vaak dineren en lunchen maar hebben dit nog nooit meegemaakt ( terwijl het ook helemaal niet druk was) . Volgende keer hier weer beginnen met wandelen echter elders luchen. Heel jammer dit! 😭😭

Goeie bedden en ruime kamer door upgrade. Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt en lekker centraal gelegen naar Laren en Amsterdam. Personeel aan de balie was behulpzaam en correct. Event was goed begeleid en zaal is goed geprijst met alle faciliteiten.

Hygiëne laat veel te wensen over. Glazen in het restaurant/bar waren allemaal vies. Op iedere stoel zat een vieze vlek. Kamernummers zitten met plakband op de deur geplakt. De kamer zelf is netjes, maar alles daar buiten is alles behalve van der Valk waardig.

Ruime kamer waarin alles aanwezig: koelkastke, haardroger, kluisje, bureau met stoel, groot tv scherm, 2 gemakkelijke stoelen alsmede goed werkende ventilatie. Verder ook mogelijkheid in kamer voor kopje thee of koffie. Druk van de douche is prima. Wel oppassen: je moet in het bad staan＞ glad. Bed comfortabel.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel in het restaurant. Boden ons de mogelijkheid om met ons gezin gebruik te maken van het ontbijtbuffet. Echter de gastvrouw bij de receptie was uiterst onvriendelijk. Ze weigerde ons een kaartje te verkopen omdat het hotel vol zou zitten. Echter waren er nog 4 kamers leeg en was het ontbijt al bijna ten einde. Ze deed geen enkele moeite om klantvriendelijk te zijn. Ga hier nooit meer heen!

Heating/Cooling Control
Fine hotel, undergoing renovations. Not a bother and saw no construction or workers.
Only one problem was the heating/cooling system, was listening to the fan all night and woke me several times. I would recommend they put an instruction on how to turn it off. According to the receptionist on check out, she recommended taking the key card out which powers lights and sockets etc and the fan will turn off. With no power at the outlets how do I charge my devices overnight? Please look at an instruction label beside the thermostat. If it cannot be manually turned off by the occupant in the room, then this is baldly designed. Other than that a lovely stay and very nice room.
