When we checked in we wanted some hot water to make a cup of tea. None in the rooms which was ok but when we went down to the lobby to ask they told my wife to walk down to the convenience store down the road and ask for some. This despite having the facilities in the breakfast room next to reception, they just couldn’t be bothered opening the door. Also rooms were dusty and old, and in need of significant repairs. For what they charge you would definitely expect better. Internet is portioned out by the day and throttled which I have never experienced before. Overall it is of the quality of a rent by the hour / 50 dollar a night motel trying to call itself a hotel. Technically they refer to themselves as a “truck stop” which is pretty much our experience. Much better value from any other hotel in the area at his price point. Highly unreccomended

This hotel is beautiful inside and outside and located in a fantastic spot. Not far from a lot of things to do in St. Albert. and Edmonton ( when they all reopen. My husband and I had a wonderful stay and was greeted by Andrea and her trainee at the front desk. So friendly and inviting, was very knowledgeable of the area and explained all hotel amenities available to us during our stay. Room was clean and I noticed that the towels were sanitized and hand sanitizer was available throughout the hotel. Thank you so much for all you are doing to keep everyone safe! We will be back when the ******s are open again and we have our next date night!

This hotel is looks nice in the lobby, and is clean throughout. Unfortunately we were placed on a side of the hotel which nears construction near by the busy Yellowhead Trail. At night you can hear every semi truck drive by and every emergency vehicle with sirens go by as if you are outside. Windows must be very old and thin. I would highly recommend bring your own earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Beds are creaky and noisy everytime you move as well as heater that turns on every 15-20 minutes which is very loud and annoying. Bathrooms could use an upgrade as their age shows as well as furnishings in the rooms. Doesn’t quite match the title of hotel. Wouldn’t stay here in the future, wasn’t a first good experience.

Hotel location is OK, there is free parking, the hotel restaurant tastes very general, but the hotel facilities are not bad,

Booked this hotel..for 4 nights.. still here it’s night 2, but seriously going to be looking at other options in the morning for a better stay. I am paying 440$ a night for something that I thought was executive high end.. very disappointed. Plus side, the room is really great, beds and pillows are comfy and it is very clean. Here’s the thing, 440$ a night ? For what? Generally hotels that are in this price range come with: a concierge, a door man or two, room service, a mini bar, room service, turn down service, basic housekeeping service ,a room directory etc.. this hotel comes with no amenities which is just fine but at least lower your rates and don’t tout yourselves to be something you’re not. When I questioned front desk staff it was all blamed on Covid. Cop out at best and I feel sorry for your staff. I work in this industry and am appalled. Quit blaming the pandemic for your shortcomings. Great if you want to cheap out but at least lower your rates and call a spade a spade.

We booked an overnight stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites West Edmonton (11330 170 St NW) in a corner jacuzzi suite. We found the room to be spacious and clean overall with good adherence to COVID-19 protocols. What was particularly lovely was the bathroom which had ample space including a large walk-in shower, double sink and the jacuzzi which allowed us to relax and wind down in. The quality of sleep was satisfactory and the stay overall reflected the TripAdvisor rating average to date. It won't rock your world but it is a solid offering. The accommodations was of very good value for price paid. Being in an industrial zone, the area does not particularly have a ton of interesting amenities within walking distance, but with a vehicle it was convenient to access attractions further away. Please be aware not to confuse this location with the Holiday Inn Express & Suites West Edmonton at 18520 100 Ave NW as the names of the properties are similar and they are within 5km of each other. Good location . Just minutes away from West Edmonton Mall.. yummy complimentary breakfast; lots to choose : coffee, 4 different juices, fountain pop, waffles, eggs, omelets, bacon , sausage, hashbrowns , oatmeal, fruit, yogurt with fruit , cereal & milk, muffins Nice , clean rooms. have everything you need ; nice kitchenette extra pillows , blankets , sofa has a pullout bed . The bathroom has Dove soap, shampoo, conditioner , body wash & lotion I enjoy staying in this hotel There's an I hop , Tim Hortons and gas convenience store in walking distance

This hotel has the best location in beautiful Edmonton. Easy access to all the Edmonton attractions; has all the conveniences of nearby restaurants, supermarket, bank, drugstore. The hotel is immaculate and the bed and pillows are soooo comfortable! All the staff are welcoming and always helpful. I am a regular long stay client and have always had the best experience. If you like keeping fit, there is a fitness room and lovely walking paths in the adjacent area.
