"The hygiene was absolutely terrible. In the afternoon, while I was resting, the housekeeping staff was incredibly loud and threw the blankets and other items on the floor, which was very unsanitary."
Beaverhall Holiday Apartments
"Stayed for 2 nights with my friend and our mums. Apartment was clean and had everything you needed. Convenient location (we caught uber/taxi's to and from centre - around £10 per journey). Everything you needed. The only concern was the placement of the microwave, we had to use a stool at first to be able to work out how to use it as it was high up. The owners were very accommodating and couldn't fault. Will return if we visit Edinburgh again."
Britannia Edinburgh Hotel

Destiny Student - Holyrood (Brae House)
"Everything was great. It's open 24/7, and online check-in is available, which saves a lot of time. We booked a studio, and the room was clean, with a microwave, fridge, stove, and dishes. There was unlimited hot water, and towels were provided with the key. The city center is a pleasant 25-minute walk away."
St Christopher's Edinburgh Old Town
"perfect location and good deal to have a stay. near the railway station and near the travel spots."
Garner Hotel Edinburgh - Haymarket
"very good and would recommend, it’s also near the walk of leith pathway where you can walk to the stockbridge from there. good location and a 20 min walk to the city."
Travelodge Edinburgh Haymarket
"The room was not properly clean when we arrived; there were hairs in the bathtub and dust on the surfaces. The room was not cleaned on any day during our stay. We arrived on a Wednesday and, even after informing them that we needed the trash to be emptied, they didn’t do it until Saturday, and they gave us towels with an unpleasant smell. I asked for toilet paper and the reception staff gave me no explanation; I had to buy it at the supermarket. It’s shameful — this is not an apartment or an aparthotel, and they don’t provide any cleaning tools either. The floor is extremely noisy. Breakfast is far too basic. There is no wardrobe in the room. The mattress on the large bed was very sunken in the middle. It’s a very basic hotel just for sleeping, but with absolutely no room cleaning, which becomes extremely uncomfortable if you stay for several days.I chose the room in advance and paid an extra fee, basing my decision only on the size, the floor and the location. The room was spacious, but it didn’t make up for the complete lack of cleanliness. The renovation of the rooms is very basic; it’s not a real refurbishment, just a superficial ‘makeover’: wallpaper on the walls (slightly peeling in some areas), doors painted white, and not much else.."
Destiny - Burnet Point
"Staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Room is immaculately clean. Make sure that you bring your towels though since it’s not provided."
