The hotel is very clean and updated. The staff is friendly. Beds are comfortable. The only thing lacking is the breakfast selection. Sausage was not good, potatoes were cold discs, toaster did not toast well. Eggs were good. The staff were doing the best they could with what they had to work with.

The three of us stayed for two nights. We heard no noise from neighboring rooms, and the kitchen was spacious, even for a suite. The room was up to par as far as cleanliness, and the staff helpful and accommodating. I can't speak to the quality of the breakfast, as we always bring and eat our own food when we travel. My only complaint was the furniture layout. The sofa bed is on the wall directly across from the actual bed, so when you pull it out there's not much room to move between the two pieces. Not a bother if no one is sleeping on the sofa bed, but our son did. My sister (who visited briefly) and I each figured out a better way to reconfigure the furniture that wouldn't require any other room modification. So I think someone should go back to the drawing board on that point. Other than that, we'd stay there again should the need arise.

BEWARE OF BOGAS CHARGES! I booked and paid for my trip in March through Orbitz. I was told that a credit card must remain on file upon check in. The hotel charged me $1527.18 for a trip that I already paid for. I contacted the hotel to get this charge reversed, but it still had not happened. The charge goes from pending to not even showing on my account. I am now fighting the credit card company, Orbitz and the hotel. Also, during our 6 night stay, our room was only cleaned once. The free breakfast was terrible and inedible.

We were in Minneapolis for a week to visit old friends. The staff at this property are outstanding and customer driven, particularly Max, and the rest of front of house. Breakfast was good - items changed every morning. Our room was very quiet. The hotel is convenient to mass transit, and right across the street from Southdale Mall (first enclosed mall in U.S.), but very modern with several restaurants. Laundry room is very useful; fitness room and pool also fine. There are a couple of parks close by for good walks.

Wow just wow from the first interaction with the staff everything was nothing less than perfect ! The rooms were beautiful the breakfast was fantastic and they really stepped up to the the plate with customer service . I would give 20 stars if I could Thank you Hilton Homewood suites

The staff was at least very friendly and accommodating with unexpected early check-in and late check-out. The suite was very spacious with a separate 2 queen bedroom. The location was very convenient for MOA, however, the room was dirty with animal hair, and pet kibble/spills on the counter near the toaster oven. When we pulled out the pull-out bed from the couch there was what appeared to be an old blood stain or chocolate...not sure which one and no linens available for that bed. The side chair in the living had pet hair, human hair, food crumbs, and to my horror, toenail clippings. I understand this is a pet-friendly hotel but there needs to be proper cleaning in place before the next person arrives. I did request the room to be ready earlier than 3 pm check in but it was clear that there were multiple different animal hairs in that room as if it hadn't been vacuumed properly for a while. Attention needs to be placed around the perimeter of the room as well as the furniture. I shouldn't have to worry about sitting on a couch that has animal hair on it upon arrival. I expected more cleanliness from a Hilton and the price. I paid more because I expected a clean atmosphere.

This is year number two that I have stayed here and it did not disappoint again. The hotel is new - it’s not even visible on Apple Maps when you put the address in - it’s just a construction site. In a larger mall complex with some great food options. Rooms are spacious, breakfast is good, and the staff is very friendly. Excited to come back next year!

We stayed there before many times. The rooms were dirty dust on the ceiling fan 1 in thick,stains on carpet and bath tub was gross. Breakfast was rubber eggs. Told night manager and they did nothing.. Can believe how bad it was and the big price we paid. SAD

But I'm shocked this hotel is only a few years old. It's already suffering from so much neglect that it feels like it's 30 years old. The windows don't open, and the air inside is stale. Hallway doors slam. The bed and pillows are lumpy and uncomfortable. Flimsy construction means you can hear neighbors up and down. Pet smell and hair on the sofa and bed. The AC buzzes away loudly, making the room too cold, but then gets too warm when the loud AC turns off. I stayed there for several days, and never heard anyone vacuum. It's probably fine for one night, but don't expect much.
