Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our stay. Our room was full of cobwebs and several spiders, the carpet was lumpy and I tripped several times. The fan in the room was broken. Furthermore, our meal in the restaurant- we ordered our food, but the waiting staff then came back informed us it was no longer available and we had to order something else; limited to what we liked in the menu. The food was requisite and delicious. Absolutely disappointed when we accessed the spa facilities. We were not informed that the spa pool, hot tub and steam room were not operating. We chose/booked Eastwell manor due to the facilities available, yet we were not able to fulfill what we set out for our stay.

The loveliest afternoon tea in beautiful Eastwell Manor. Scrummy food attentive service lots of top ups of the Teapot. Never rushed we had such a fab time we stayed for over 4 hours and they very kindly gave us complementary Baileys. Highly recommended Well done Aaron and team.

Visited Eastwell Manor spa in September. I met my friend for what was meant to be a luxurious evening spa evening session, unfortunately it was absolutely appalling. On arrival the spa restaurant was closed meaning there was no where in the spa at all to get refreshments. No one advised that the meal would be in the main restaurant, so we were extremely confused of where to go with no one to ask. The steam room was closed with the door not even intact. Tiling within the spa was hanging of the wall in some areas, with the general spa area being in the worst condition I have ever seen it and very dirty including mould. Noting that this is sold as a ‘luxury experience’ Most of the toilets did not flush or were constantly re-filling. The whirlpool was freezing, with the Jacuzzi being so hot you couldn’t sit in it, and the chlorine levels were obviously too high as everyone’s eyes were stinging Dinner service was so slow, that we had to constantly ask for updates on food order. Overall, the experience made us feel as though the evening spa experience was after closing as there was nothing available, with the areas which were open being in such a poor state. I contacted management and have had no reply.

We got a last minute deal and we are so glad we didn't pay full price. We stayed in the mews. The room was okay, basic. I would have expected a bit of luxury but was disappointed. The tea tray is basic, one coffee, one decaf, one tea, green tea and peppermint tea. No coffee machine and no biscuits. The double bed was two singles pushed together so my poor husband spent the night in the grove. The grounds are beautiful very well maintained. Pool was pleasant, didn't understand the adults lounging around pool, but each to our own. We had dinner at the hotel, service very slow waited 20 mins to be asked if we wanted a drink. I would have expected them to pour the drinks but that didn't happen. We both had the duck my goodness it was lovely, fat could have been rendered down a bit more but it was so tender melted like butter. We would go back just for the duck. Breakfast the following morning was good, fantastic buffet selection, hot food was tasty porches eggs slightly over cooked but still tasty. Booking out was 1100, but at 1020 we had a knock on the door a man standing with bedding asked us are we going. Reminded him we had till 1100, but we felt rushed to leave so left 5 mins later. Overall is was a pleasant night, but so glad we didn't pay full price. We would have been so disappointed and not sure we would have stayed in that room.

Had a fantastic morning at Eastwell Manor pool -outdoor ( now closed for the winter) and indoor and jacuzzi . I have been a member for almost 20 years and have encouraged friends and family to join over the years. The facilities of the pools and gym are exceptional as is the quality of food and drinks from the 2 restaurant and bars. The main reason that I continue to be a member though is the quality of the staff and the service they provide. In particular Georgina goes that extra mile - nothing is too much trouble - she always opens on time - key to a lot of members who go straight to work after their work out - she is always cheerful, helpful and professional and if there are any problems she takes ownership and makes sure they are rectified she is a real credit to Champneys .

We were not expecting much and were blown off our feet. Thank you Janine for looking after us so wonderfully. After a wee hiccup when checking in our room, we were upgraded in one of the most wonderful rooms! From Axl on check-in to the duo Janine-Adam on check-out and Sonia last night at the bar, we can’t fault the staff for the wonderful welcome. On the food side, except for having ordered twice something that was no longer available, the burger we had for dinner was delicious. Again, thank you Sonia for your kindness and service. We got to relax in the Spa which was most welcome after travelling. Take the opportunity peeps, it’d be a shame to pass on some good time in the water! It was lovely to see Janine again upon check-out. All in all… we were “wowed”.

Excellent gym with a variety of classes. Have been having PT sessions with Imogen and already I am seeing an improvement in my strength. Imogen is a great motivator and makes me feel like I can achieve anything! Thank you and thank you to the rest of the team for always being so welcoming

We only stayed there Sunday night as we has a business meeting in the morning. Beautiful venue from outside but it is not cared for inside, it’s not worth the money. We always stay in nice hotels but this one needs a good shake up. Food is not available in bedrooms which is a shame as we were shattered after a busy week in our business. As you can see from the photos you don’t expect to go to a hotel like this and see dust and dirt, can’t comment on spa as we didn’t go there, we would look for another hotel when we have another trip in that area. Food was ok but not amazing. We stayed in room 290, beware if you go there.
