We had booked a Room in the upstairs. However when we arrived, we requested for a downstairs room considering that there is no lift to the upstairs and we had some heavy luggage. The receptionist Joanne immediately gave us the only room available (room 53) at the time. This was an upgraded room which was given to us at no extra charge. This room is at the rear of the building also having a covered car parking spot. The room also had a large size refrigerator and a microwave oven. Cutlery, plates, mugs, glasses were also provided. There was also a small dining table and chairs. The room also had a separate lounge section with lounge seat, lounge table and a television. Only once we noticed some little ants moving around when we kept the window open while we were away for a while. When we told the reception (Joanne), she personally without any delay with some products which eliminated the ants never to return. We really appreciated Joanne’s commitment to keep the guests happy and comfortable. It is also worth noting that the cleaners who serviced the rooms did a fantastic job. We have been to more than hundreds of hotels. But the cleaners of this hotel are the best of all, with no shortcoming at all. Their service is highly appreciated. The hotel has its own restaurant, but it does not serve breakfast. It provides room service for breakfast provided an order is placed before 8pm the previous day. The hotel is located almost at the edge of the CBD and is very close to Queens Park. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and highly recommended.
