We recently faced a distressing situation where we had to cancel our overseas trip and make emergency arrangements to return home immediately following a death in the family. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, the hotel failed to acknowledge my numerous emails let alone provide any refund or credit. This lack of compassion or even acknowledgement was disheartening and unprofessional. I expected better customer service, especially considering the nature of my request. I would advise others to consider hotels that prioritise empathy and understanding in their policies, particularly in sensitive situations like this.
