The most wonderful vacation! Luxury all the way and SERVICE that you won’t find anywhere else. We were taken to our own private dock by boat upon arrival. Was here for 1 night , room was clean no smell , receptionist so welcoming and polite especially mr fakri or fikri i forgot, he’s so nice though.
Otherwise still hear people from another rooms, but im ok with that, and at night still hear about motocicle and car because so near with the road. Not recommended if you bring your own car bcs the parking lot not available. Not recommended about the massage as well , it’s just the lady need more training about massages. Overall about the room and place so nice, near from restaurant. With the affordable price , is worth to stay thanks

Hotel is in good location but beware after late night you won't see any shops open even the convenience shop closes by 10 -10.30 pm at night . There are street food shops outside but quality is not that good . Hotel has in premises restaurant which closes by 11 at night . They do serve alcoholic drinks. Bar is available in the hotel. Security is there in the hotel but not the best they don't screen everyone while entering the lift . Eventhough room was clean observed there are small roaches in the toilet . They do have smoking and non smoking rooms with air con. Safety lockers are available and they work properly . Hot water and bathroom flush worked properly. Tried Nasi goreng with telur in their restaraunt and it was damn good but payment is only via cash . Try to have indonesian rupiah in hand for payments.

. location in glodok, Chinatown, 1km close to Kota tua. Interesting if you are an explorer and want to walk around a bit, understand the most humble of local life, and only go back to hotel to sleep. You can easily find indomaret, maxim the grocer and breakfast place on the gloria alley. for dinner, pancoran food lane will work.

Clean and comfortable room. Asked for a lower non smoking floor because I needed to leave early in the morning and I got a room just behind the receptionist that made me felt safe as a solo guest. Receptionist was accomodating. Cleaner on the hall helped show me how to open the door when I had a problem. The food that was ordered to the room was freshly made. The guard helped when I tried to order a taxi in the morning. Thank you for the hospitality.

The Wi-Fi connection is also fast, and for the tv cable have international channel. Suprisingly you can enjoy YouTube, Netflix, Disney Hotstar. The bed so comfy and nice place to relax cause so quite. In the other side, a hotel location is strategic cause close to LRT Cawang Station, Transjakarta, and other transportation. And the price is so affordable. Feel curious to stay in other Vasaka Hotel in the next trip!

GGuest UserYou may find this humble hotel serves a very nice hospitality. This hotel location is easy to reach. The receptionist promptly assists us on check in and out. The room is renovated, comfort, clean and spacious. Special touch in the room while you check in; the praying corner, the barcode for ordering room service, the welcoming arrangement (art towel, fruit, special printed welcoming note with guest picture). Love the view from the room. Food and beverages served in restaurant. The taste is so authentic homey Minang food and Chinese food – all tasty. You may find the various dishes. All Halal food and beverages. Love the bubur sumsum (rice flour porridge served with palm sugar), lontong sayur (rice cake with curry veggie soup). You will get lucky, when this hotel holds a special event, such as inviting the Indonesia Master Chef who live cooks in front of the guest. This hotel also has the masjid for pray, and 2 halls for meeting or special event.

Aarh_jkt95Decent room in terms of cleanliness and size it's suitable for business travelers. Great service from the staff starting from security to receptionists to housekeepers. I really had a great time staying at Holiday Inn Express Matraman. The only downside on the other hand was the breakfast. The food was not delicious. Staff working at the restaurant were nice however the food was disappointing in my opinion.

GGuest UserThe hotel condition is fine, rooms are not so big (but enough) with minimalist design. The downside is the tube-bathroom…I really hate it. Too small and the material (it’s made from resin I guess) somehow doesn’t make me comfortable. Also the shampoo and conditioner dispenser needs to be pushed quote hardly. Staffs are friendly. BUT the SOP for pandemics situation is quite loose. When I checked-in, other guest come to the the desk (from other side) not wearing the mask properly (he used it ON THE CHIN). Tried to remind him, he didn’t care. I was disappointed that the reception didn’t anything and still served him as if it very commonly happens. Also found guests smoking and chatting (of course no mask on) at the outdoor restaurant with no social distancing (I can tell they weren’t families). So in conclusion: hotel is fine, strategic location and worth the price yet if u worry abt covid19, don’t stay here.

GGuest UserCompared with domestic hotels, this price is relatively similar. There are shopping malls with food stores around, such as kfc, McDonald, subway, domino's pizza, etc. There are also many roadside snacks, but I haven't tried it.
Disadvantages: First, unlike in China, you can refill mineral water for free. Secondly, it seems that all hotel windows in Indonesia cannot be opened. Although there are windows, they are locked or there is no place to open them. In addition, the mosque is opposite the hotel. There are many prayer broadcasts at fixed times every day. At first, it was noisy, but it’s okay to get used to it. After all, this kind of prayer sound can be heard anywhere in Indonesia.
