Hotels Near Düsseldorf Central Station in Dusseldorf

Although the hotel is a bit far away from the train station (still within walking distance), the room was amazing! The price for a twin room was less than 100 euros and breakfast was also included! Love this hotel very much. Definitely will check in again. PS. NO fridge in the room. but the ice is available from the bar.

Wir waren hier mit Freunden um einen Geburtstag in der Nähe zu feiern. Das Hotel liegt in einer industriell genutzten Gegend etwas abgelegen. Es ist deswegen ausgesprochen ruhig in der Gegend. Das Haus ist recht neu und funktionell eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind recht gross und sauber und die Betten sind bequem. Das Frühstücksangebot war nicht sonderlich reichlich, aber ausreichend. Zum Hotel gehört ein beschrankter Parkplatz für 12 Euro, den benötigt man nicht unbedingt, es gibt in der eher einsamen Gegend auch kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Hotel wird mit minimalem Personaleinsatz betrieben, das war kein Nachteil. Alle Mitarbeiter, mit denen wir Kontakt hatten, waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für etwas unter 100 Euro haben wir eine sehr gute Übernachtung erhalten.

Excellent hotel, greatly located just next to Duisburg Main Station. Modern, calm, close to public transportation. Hotel security is excellent, access is controlled 24 hours, facility accessible only for hotel guests. The team is very attentive, professional, efficient and well trained. Room size is bigger than standard for same hotel category. The hotel is very clean, both the public areas and the room. Bathroom modern and well equipped. I will definitely stay there again next time in the area. Definitely with my recommendations.

When we checked in; 1 agent checked us in while the other 2 just stared at us like we were aliens. One of them had a smirk on their face throughout my check-in, I wanted to ask what she thought was so funny with us checking into the hotel but I didn’t want to spoil the evening. They all started laughing when we left the checkin desk. Know that we are non-European. Very unwelcoming and unprofessional. I suggest cultural diversity training. The beds were disgusting! Small strips of hair all over the fitted sheet. The Most Disgusting was the pee stain on the sheets! The bed smelled like piss too. It was supposed to be non-smoking but someone had been smoking in the room or the insulation/vent systems need more work. I didn’t want to deal with the unprofessional front desk staff so I suffered through the uncleanliness and just put 2 towels on top of the duvet just to feel at ease sleeping, even though we were only there for one night…Thank God I didn’t book for longer. The only positive was breakfast; it was adequate for 1 night stay. Definitely won’t be spending another dime here.

Central location for access to the centre of Essen. Parking opposite and various shops and restaurants in walking distance. Comfortable and modern like all NH. Room a bit warm and didn’t seem possible to adjust.

Very clean new and modern. The hotel was very quiet which was nice. Unfortunately they could not offer food in the evening and had to rely on take away food. Thankfully the hotel staff were helpful in advising where to order food from. Also very helpful on my check out day as i couldnt work at the office I was given late check out which was great.

We had 5 rooms during Orgatec Exhibition. Hotel was new, employees were kind, breakfast was good and in general it was a clean hotel. It is not in city center but really easy to reach Rudofplatz or Heumarkt with 2 Tram Lines and it takes only 5 stops. Also there were some restaurant and supermarkets around for our needs. Therefore we enjoyed our stay in hotel. Only thing which was negative, you need to inform reception each morning for cleaning rooms. Otherwise it was not cleaned. (we are not informed about this during check-in so we learned that after first day) Despite we informed that for each day, second day of our stay 2/5 rooms are not cleaned. Except this, it was all well clean

Great price for a hotel in this location. The room is a bit limited in size but very clean and comfortable. Being located virtually right behind the Cathedral, this hotel is a nice choice if you want to walk around the city.

The old house is decorated, the aisle is very narrow, the elevator is enough for two people, it seems that the cockroach can be on. The room is spacious, bright and clean, very good; there is a coffee machine at the front desk to pick up hot water, the front desk service is very good; Located in the old town square, not the closest to the Cologne church, but the dining is very convenient. It is very convenient and safe to go out to eat a typical German pig elbow beer. There are taxis waiting for customers to drink at 11 o'clock in the evening. Not far from the pedestrian street, the cathedral, the central station, the railway bridge, parking in the public parking lot out of the tunnel, from the square, very convenient. Well, the apartment is good, a bit bigger than a normal hotel room, but by no means ample. There are some irritating failures of design: Most pulling knobs are difficult to pull, being a smooth cylinder or similar. Only the fridge door has a proper pulling shape, so they were aware of the usefulness of the design, but chose not to do it on the rest. Also, the microwave has a grill, but also a notice on the door that says never to use the grill because it will start the fire alarm ??? Easier to buy non-grill microwaves, I'd say. They have something about fire alarms, because they make you sign a document where you declare to know about them and specify the fines for setting one accidentally. It discourages you from cooking at all :-) Also the bed can be raised and you get a sofa . The bed surface is one plank, it's comfortable, but the two ”arms” of the sofa are long and hard, easy to hit in the night if you rise from the bed. But these are generally minor inconveniences. The apartment looks clean in general, but there was a big exception. We noticed during the first night a strong old-sweat smell when in the bed. Investigation proved it to come from the mattress protector, which was also a bit brown when we took the sheet out. Clearly it hadn't been washed. I don't know what is the general policy in hotels about mattress protectors, but this one was obviously dirty, and they didn't wash it. We didn't take the issue to the management, we were tired, we just took the mattress protector away and slept without problems afterwards. So we don't know which would have been the reaction to this. but that shouldn't happen anyway.
