Very beautiful place. Nice location to visit Old Sarum, Stonehenge or even only Salisbury. Staff are friendly. Beautiful views through the window. Bed is really comfy.

As a black person u wanna avoid this hotel never wrote a review before but this is the worse hotel. My room number was changed immediately when I got there. She was acting nice and all but u could notice the look and expression.
So im like dont think to much about it. Let it go. I get in my room obviously it’s not what I requested. I let it slide cause I wanna sleep n continue my journey the following day.
Constant noise of doors banging etc. bare I’m mind I wear hearing aids ! When I’m sleeping I don’t wear them so which shows it much better really loud.
10:30 someone opens my door and peed. What if I was naked or getting dress . The check out is at 12. So the is no reason for opening my door. !!!!

The staff were lovely! However we were placed in a room where the tv did not work, the window didn’t shut completely, and we had no hot water.
The staff were amazing and the location was great if you have a car!

We have stayed at this hotel in the past, rooms are a bit dated but always clean and the staff are friendly. However we will Never book with them again ! We live in Norfolk and our son and his family live in Salisbury, this hotel is just minutes from their house, we booked for four nights back in April to stay at the end of July, we have been looking forward to it very much as we don’t get to see our grandkids much, Yesterday 3rd July I received an email saying that our booking was cancelled ! I phoned the hotel to be told that they had overbooked on the Saturday, we could stay on Fri, Sun and Mon but would have to find elsewhere to sleep on the Saturday, I can not convey how amazed I am that they think this is Ok, So I would say before booking this hotel have a plan B !!

A thoroughly lovely experience, the staff are so professional and friendly. The duty manager at the time of my stay was Becca who was so helpful, friendly and professional. A great experience, I am truly grateful to all of the staff for making me feel so welcome and I recommend this hotel as one of the most friendly I have stayed at.

We recently stayed overnight at the Stones for a meeting on Monday, and while we had a few issues during dinner—particularly with the kitchen, where the chef didn’t seem very attentive—we were truly impressed by the exceptional service from one member of staff. A young Caribbean lady at the front desk was an absolute gem. From the moment we met her, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. My wife even commented on how lovely she was and how nice her perfume smelled! When we experienced issues during dinner and were considering leaving a negative review, she stepped in with genuine care and concern. She listened to us, sincerely apologised, and kindly offered us complimentary drinks and our dinner money back , which really helped turn the evening around. After dinner, we had a chance to chat with her, and we were both struck by how mature, knowledgeable, and thoughtful she was. She shared helpful information about the hotel and even gave us a little guide to Salisbury, which we really appreciated. The following day, as we were leaving after our meeting, she came over to check in on us, asked about our day, and even gave my wife a warm hug goodbye. Such a kind and genuine gesture. Because of her we will come again , but we’re not sure if we will eat .

I’m pretty sure there’s a little bit of creative writing about this hotel, check in , yes all seems ok , staff friendly enough and appears to have been recently refurbished to a point, there is a but thought ,food in the restaurant that evening was beyond words, how that man in that kitchen dare turn out something like that is a total and utter disgrace, I wish I had my phone on me to take a picture of what he threw on them plates, then when you look around the patio area you notice no body has really bothered tidying it up, empty glasses cleared away yes but not actually tidied up, same in the rear garden area , seats left untidy loads of light bulbs missing or just not working fence broken, and inside dead flies and cobwebs in windowsills, its not that it’s bad it’s just a place people work but really don’t give a monkeys, breakfast wasn’t bad but the waitress picking the bits of burnt or dried scrambled egg out with her fingers and the staff member who was supposed to be behind reception sat in the bar area when I asked to checkout of room ??? just said ye but didn’t bother getting up of her ##se or asking if I had a pleasant stay just sat there and pushed her face back into her phone, to much trouble , probably always done it and got away with it. I suppose if you’re working down there and really stuck for accommodation it better than nothing, but I wasn’t working so no excuses, not the experience I was hoping for, the breakfast didn’t transport me back my childhood days and no I won’t be returning not even for free!. If it was on an old school report it would read must try harder, much harder.
