The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful and beautiful environment, the restaurant is so elegant, and there are check-in spots everywhere, it’s super beautiful!

This is a great place to stay! The staff are very kind and helpful, the rooms are wonderful - lots of power points in useful places! - and the location is lovely, close to the railway station, a short walk into the centre and some beautiful riverside walks. I’ll definitely be back.

Visited with my mum as a treat for her birthday. We had a lovely time, staff very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Fiona the housekeeper - she was very nice and our rooms were spotless.

Good central position but no undue road noise. Rooms modest in size but adequate. Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed 4 night and felt hotel gave good value for money. Good breakfasts and well presented evening meals.

Stayed in room 14,extremely hot and stuffy even with window open, yellow lights shining through the tops of the curtains, the noise from the kitchen went on late ,ensuite was quite small, The breakfast wasn't great, and the porridge was the consistency of clay,the veg was raw

Good Points ....Good location, good food ( bar meals and breakfast ) car parking. Not so good points ....being woken up at 05.10 by the bins being emptied, very noisy and set off all the security lights. Fire alarm went off at 07.00 ( not the fault of hotel ) but staff very and I mean ' very ' disorganised

What a great place! A lovely setting, with a perfect pub/restaurant downstairs... The staff are very helpful and friendly, and they work incredibly hard, doing everything from check-in to serving a pint! One can walk into town in about ten minutes or so, and there are lovely woods ("Floss Vale") and a hiking/walking trail right behind the hotel.

Beautiful in with rooms very clean and good choice of food on the menu. Very noisy from other residents and with the rooms being above the pub/restaurant. Bedroom well appointed but no headboards on beds and the most lumpy uncomfortable pillows I’ve ever had the pleasure of. I sound like a right grumpy old lady which I’m not just a very uncomfortable nights sleep so glad I fetched ear plugs
