DO NOT STAY HERE – Terrible Management & Unjust Treatment
I had a horrible experience at Delta Hotels Durham Royal County and strongly advise against staying here.
- Serious booking issues: The hotel’s system incorrectly recorded our reservation, causing major confusion at check-in.
- Wrongful detainment: At check-out, the staff falsely claimed we hadn’t paid for all nights, refused to accept proof of payment, and detained my family members until Trip.com had to intervene.
- Rude and unprofessional staff: The hotel staff were dismissive, refused to listen, and showed no concern for our distress.
- Financial & emotional damage: Due to their incompetence, we missed our train, lost valuable belongings, and suffered immense stress.
- No apology, no accountability: Even after their mistake was confirmed, the hotel never apologized or took responsibility.
This was the worst hotel experience of my life. If you value peace of mind and fair treatment, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!
