GGuest UserHighly recommended to everyone. We traveled to Dun Huang in early May (2024), and we feel grateful for all the kindness we got here. The hotel is very clean, and the service is super accommodating. They provide free pick-up from airport (or train station), so all you need is to call them one day ahead (the receptionist can speak English if you don't speak Chinese). Everyone will smile at you and ask what they can help you when we stay there. The location is brilliant too. It is like 1000 meters away from Ming Sha mountain, and you can actually see the sand mountain when you have breakfast at the hotel (it is free too). We will definitely stay here again when we visit Dun Huang next time.

GGuest UserWe arrived in Dunhuang at night, and the pick-up service arranged by the hotel was very heartwarming. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. You can see the beautiful scenery of Mingsha Mountain in the distance outside the window. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, making you feel like spring breeze. The hotel breakfast is delicious. The restaurant is on the 9th floor and has a large viewing platform where you can enjoy the beautiful Dunhuang. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel also provides yogurt, mineral water and seasonal fruits. The hotel's service details are very attentive. The Dunhuang landmark Rebounding Pipa is right in front of the hotel. It is very close to the Dunhuang Shazhou Night Market. It is only a 5-minute walk away. It is convenient for eating and transportation. You can take the No. 3 bus at the door directly to Mingsha Mountain, and there are direct buses to the Mogao Grottoes. I had a comfortable stay and had a lot of fun during my trip to Dunhuang. I hope to come again if I have the opportunity.

For this trip to Dunhuang, I browsed a lot of hotels on Ctrip before departure. Because it was a holiday or a weekend, many hotel rooms were tight. When I saw the Ai Si Ding Hotel, I finally decided through the hotel introduction, the passengers' messages, and the phone call to communicate with the front desk. When I arrived at the hotel, the reception of the little sister at the front desk was very enthusiastic. The hotel also upgraded our room type for free and explained the relevant service content very clearly. When we went to Mingsha Mountain, she helped us make an appointment for shoe covers. The hotel's breakfast is quite good, with many varieties and good taste. The hotel is in a good location, and it only costs more than ten yuan to take a taxi to Mingsha Mountain. You can walk or take the bus to Shazhou Night Market.

GGuest UserIt was my first time in Dunhuang. When I saw the Vision Hotel under China Travel Group, I chose this hotel without hesitation. It was just like the Vision Hotels in other cities. Although it is a 4-star hotel, it feels like a 5-star hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with unlimited drinking water, fruits and snacks delivered every night, and free self-service laundry service.

AAnonymous UserChecked in on New Year's Eve. Two wind towels were given as a gift when I checked in. I took a photo of it specially because it was my favorite color, hehe.
Cleanliness: The room was surprisingly clean. No weird smell.
Facilities: Free toiletries are provided. The bathroom is spacious. The eco-friendly slippers are comfortable, but you can’t take them away.
Environment: Entering the hall, it is cozy, warm and the heating is very good.
Service: The beauties in the lobby are enthusiastic and warm.
To emphasize, heating is very good in winter. The bedding was clean and tidy. We stayed for two days and went out to the scenic spot on the second day. They cleaned and tidied the room without any request.
It is convenient to eat. There is an authentic beef noodle restaurant opposite the hotel, a convenience store next door, and a large supermarket around the corner, which is open on New Year's Eve. A perfect trip to Dunhuang! Dunhuang of the world, where my heart longs for!

JJessizzzIt is a wise choice to stay at Tianhe Hotel when you come to Dunhuang!
It is close to the city center, quiet in the bustling city, and a flying statue stands in the middle of the magnificent lobby.
The room is also large and clean, and a foot bath bag is provided every day.
The buffet breakfast starts at 7:30, which is very rich, with vegetables, fruits and special noodles.
The price is really beautiful when you come to stay in the off-season, and the service is super considerate. Thank you very much to Tian Xiaozhuan, the waiter in charge of our floor. He was afraid that we were not used to the dry climate here, so he gave us many bottles of mineral water every day, and asked if it was enough. He replenished anything that was missing quickly and enthusiastically.
The hotel yard is super large, and it is also convenient to park by car. It is also great to watch the stars in the yard at night.

JJoeyueyueEnvironment: Facing the river, you can see the river view at night. There are two convenience stores at the door. It is very convenient to buy things. It is very quiet, but it is not far from the night market and attractions. The breakfast may not be self-service because it is off-season, but it is freshly made and tastes very good. It is full and has everything~
Service: I received a call from Xiaoqin from the hotel one day in advance to help us contact the airport. Then when I heard that we wanted to go to Mogao Grottoes, I told her that she could help us take our luggage back to the hotel and send us to Mogao Grottoes on the way. This is very humane~
Master Liang who came to pick us up was also very good. He told us about the food in Dunhuang and took the initiative to contact us. The business car arranged by the hotel to pick us up was very comfortable. We came out late and there was no urging.
If you don’t arrange a chartered car in advance, you can also find Master Liang. I also asked this by the way~
Dunhuang in the off-season is really more cost-effective than in the peak season

JJonnyBWhen we arrived at 930pm there was loud construction next door and didn't stop till after 1230am both on the first night and 3rd night. Very loud and difficult to sleep. Room was ok but bed was very hard like sleeping on wood. Breakfast was Chinese breakfast and just mediocre. Hotel advertised a gym , spa and sauna. Gym was 2 small machines stuck in the corner of the 2nd floor out in the open. I could not find the spa or sauna so I asked the front desk and was told ”no have”. I discovered later the next night the spa is outside of the hotel and not affiliated with the hotel. Won't stay here again

EemdethuongThis hotel accepts foreigners. Location is not far from Dunhuang night market. Reception is nice and welcoming although they did not speak english. Translation app will do just fine. 100rmb deposit at check-in and they will give you back at check-out if everything is fine. Room is small, quite old and basic. Smoking is allowed inside hotel floors so it felt really suffocationg. The faucet in the bathroom did not give hot water, only the shower did. The only thing I don’t like is the AC (also heater) emitted kind of a burning smell which made the room suffocated. I turned on for a while and turned off in order to sleep safely.
