Hotels Near Jiuquan Mirage in Dunhuang

The hotel is an old hotel, clean and hygienic, with thoughtful service. Because we arrived on New Year's Eve, we upgraded the room type. Xiao Du at the front desk was very nice, and reminded us that there might be no restaurants open for dining during the New Year. Coming from the south, I felt it was too dry, so I added a humidifier. In short, it was great👍

The hotel is located in the center of Dunhuang, next to the Feitian Sculpture, and 20 meters east of the entrance is the entrance to the Dunhuang Night Market. It is very convenient to go to the Mingsha Mountain Mogao Grottoes. The hotel provides a special car to pick you up from the airport, which is very convenient. The Mingshan View Room has a wide view, and you can see the sand mountain from the room. The most recognized one is that there is an unlimited supply of bottled water, and there are a lot of them in the elevator halls on each floor. There is also a laundry room on the 45th floor, which is very convenient for changing clothes after coming down from the sand mountain. Especially suitable for family travel.

Apart from the good location of the hotel, which is in the snack street, to be honest, there is no advantage. (You can't get to the hotel entrance by taxi) The hotel has a total of 3 floors, and the lobby is on the 2nd floor. The sound insulation is very average. You can hear the noise outside the door at 7 o'clock in the morning, because all the room doors are opposite each other, and there is no so-called corridor at all (see the picture below). I booked a family room, 2 adults + 1 13-year-old child, but everything is double. There are two pillows on each bed, one high and one low, which makes our family of three who like low pillows really embarrassed 😳. The bath water can never be adjusted to the temperature you want. The most unbearable thing is the noise in the room. You can hear the sound of water flowing in the water pipe all night. I asked the aunt the next day and she said it was the sound of the air conditioning pipe. I can only laugh and don't recommend it.

Facilities: great, the real thing is exactly the same as the picture, the color is very bright and beautiful, and there is value! Hygiene: Hahaha said a detail, the bathroom is very clean, the taste is particularly good, this detail really pokes me! ! The first time I experienced tatami, the bed was very good, the bed was soft and comfortable, the area was not large, but it was enough. The two large suitcases were completely enough and there was a small tea set to drink tea. Service: Xiaofei at the front desk is very enthusiastic to help store the luggage. If you lose something in hot water, you will contact me in time and send it back to me. It is really intimate. 😃😃😃

During the summer vacation, my friends and I came to visit Dunhuang, which we have longed for. The hotel we chose was okay based on the reviews. We just arrived at the hotel. The check-in procedure was quick and efficient. The lady at the front desk also thoughtfully introduced the special restaurants around the hotel, gave away free fruits, and briefly introduced the surrounding attractions. Moreover, the hotel is very close to Danghe River, Dunhuang Bookstore, and Dunhuang Museum. Convenient to travel. Whether you are shopping or playing, you can meet your needs.

Facilities: New hotel, the facilities are not to mention, full of sense of technology, the TV is very big, and you can also cast the screen. After a day, I lie on the bed and continue to watch ”Hexi Corridor”, and Immerse yourself in Dunhuang. Hygiene: extremely clean and sanitary, very reassuring Environment: There is a snack street nearby. The famous Yangji Dry Food Store is right on the snack street, and you can basically walk 500 to 600 meters to get there, which is very convenient. Service: The service is great. The staff at the front desk will ask if we need hot milk. They chat with us every day, showing the simple enthusiasm of the people of the northwest.

The service was exceedingly good at ZhongZhou hotel. I stayed with my wife and had a second room for my daughter and son in law. The lobby always had someone to open doors/press the elevator button for guests. What really stood out to me was the attitude of the workers. Breakfast typically starts at 7, when I mentioned I had to leave at 6:15, the worker at the restaurant told me to come early, and she would have it ready for me. Unfortunately no fitness center but the laundry room was a plus. There were also plenty of washing machines (no dryers). This hotel truly felt like a second home. The rooms and beds were also comfortable and clean. A fantastic stay overall, would definitely stay here again.

The hotel location is good, right in the city center. The exterior may look like an ordinary modern Chinese hotel but the guest room interior is quite nice. Modern with lots of electrical outlets. The breakfast is simple but tastes really good. The best for this China trip for me. The hotel also has a free pickup and dropoff service from/to Dunhuang Airport and Dunhuang Railway Station. One of a few drawbacks for me is the shower room design. I mean construction wise, not decoration wise. Even though there is a circumference groove on the shower room floor to drain water, the swinging glass shower door leaves space at the bottom, causing water to spill outside and pool on the floor. The floor is marbled so it could be slippery. Another is that even though I had the hotel's WeChat account and had tried to contact them, as I thought I would be able to use the translation function on the app, I was not able to reach anyone or get any response.

Staff were courteous, and the fruit bowl was replenished daily. The room was vast, and could strike some as under-furnished, but it had all I needed and the bed was very comfortable. There are numerous restaurants in the surroundings, but my visit coincided withe Chinese New Year, and a good 95% of the city was shut during my stay. The nearby 'river' is a pleasant place to stroll, though perhaps not in the depths of winter. The Night Market (again, not functioning in January) is close by.

It was the happiest night in Dunhuang. I am very glad to have chosen this wild luxury camp. There are many activities and the dinner is great. The room is clean and tidy. There is also a projection where you can watch desert movies. The experience is very good. The staff has a very good service attitude. Very enthusiastic. I recommend everyone to choose his boat room. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I will come back next time with my family.
