"Hotel is very nice. The location is close to the Shanzhou Night Market and it takes roughly 5-10 Minutes by walking there. In one of the side alleys are hidden gems, namely restaurants that do not appear on Google Maps or Apple Maps. I recommend to explore the surrounding area. Also the hotel is very clean in general, however my room has stains of previous travelers in the rug. I recommend to thoroughly clean it professionally. The staff were excellent and super friendly. Check In was very easy as foreigner and the overall service was very good."

"I highly recommend this hotel! It's located right in the night market, very convenient, yet not noisy! The amenities are all there, including a washing machine and dryer, which was very convenient for hand-washing and drying clothes before heading to Mingsha Mountain. The room was very clean. I stayed there with a discerning eye, and I didn't find any issues. You can also get coffee with ice, and there are also small peaches. I always grab one when I pass by 😏 When I checked in, Xiaohui, the hotel's assistant, saw that I was alone and upgraded my room. She also patiently answered any inquiries I had. Overall, highly recommended."

"The room was exceptionally clean, and the service was incredibly attentive. In the lobby, there were always complimentary apricot tea, coffee, candies, and fruits available. The staff even went above and beyond by bringing us watermelon and yogurt. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious, and all the hotel's amenities and services were top-notch. The location is fantastic, very close to Dunhuang Night Market. If you're traveling with kids, Shazhou Night Market is literally right at your doorstep, and the famous Flying Apsara sculpture is just to the left. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dunhuang."

The arrangement was a bit confusing though, and we were glad it was resolved. 2) Surprised us with the free mask. Very useful for the Ming Shan Hu. Also, thanks for the free rental of shoes. "Great hotel in great location. The staffs are also very helpful and great service mind. Firstly, the hotel upgraded our room for free, it was nice, clean, and spacious. After that the robot delivered us free welcome yoghurts. The location is nice, in the middle of shopping street, bakery, convenient stores. It is convenient to take cab to Mingshashan. The laundry room looks nice, new and clean. Definitely we will come to this hotel if we were back in Dunhuang."

"The location of the hotel is very good. Many restaurants at the door are delicious. There are snack streets and Shazhou Night Market about 800 meters nearby. It is within a few kilometers from Dunhuang Museum and Leiyin Temple. The taxi fare is just a few kilometers away. It is also very convenient to be about 5 kilometers away from Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring. Hotel service quality is very good, clean and front desk service is very good The whole trip experience in Dunhuang is very good. This hotel has contributed."

"This is by far the best hotel we ever stayed during trip to Gansu. Excellent service from the staffs. There are 4 sets of complimentary commercial washers and dryers for guests to use. The hotel is thoughtful enough to station a staff to assist with washing/drying guests' laundry during peak laundry hour (usually in the evening). Staff will assist to move laundry out from washer/dryer once done to ensure all guests will a chance to get their laundry done. The hotel is located in the city center. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby."

"Good location, close to everything and an easy strolling distance from the night market in any weather. The room was a decent size with lots of windows and a surprisingly powerful (and awesome) overhead shower. Some guests may object to the partially used mini toiletries in the room (the moisturizer and shampoo were both 3/4s used. As a summer visitor, the room would really benefit from a mini fridge!"

"Checked in on New Year's Eve. Two wind towels were given as a gift when I checked in. I took a photo of it specially because it was my favorite color, hehe. Cleanliness: The room was surprisingly clean. No weird smell. Facilities: Free toiletries are provided. The bathroom is spacious. The eco-friendly slippers are comfortable, but you can’t take them away. Environment: Entering the hall, it is cozy, warm and the heating is very good. Service: The beauties in the lobby are enthusiastic and warm. To emphasize, heating is very good in winter. The bedding was clean and tidy. We stayed for two days and went out to the scenic spot on the second day. They cleaned and tidied the room without any request. It is convenient to eat. There is an authentic beef noodle restaurant opposite the hotel, a convenience store next door, and a large supermarket around the corner, which is open on New Year's Eve. A perfect trip to Dunhuang! Dunhuang of the world, where my heart longs for!"

The location is absolutely impeccable! Located in the heart of the city center, just a 600-meter walk to the right from the hotel is the Shazhou Night Market, offering super convenient access to barbecue, paomo (pita bread soaked in mutton soup), and other local snacks. After a satisfying meal, you can stroll back to the hotel. A 10-minute taxi ride to the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake is just a short distance to the hotel, and it's also conveniently located for visiting the Mogao Grottoes. Within 800 meters, there are numerous breakfast shops and popular restaurants, making it easy to find places to eat and explore. For those driving, there's a free parking lot in the hotel's backyard, ensuring safe and convenient parking. The service is simply heartwarming! Advance booking allows you to choose between 24-hour airport or train station pick-up service. A dedicated staff member will meet you as soon as you arrive, so you don't have to worry at all. The support staff even offered a complimentary car wash, a thoughtful touch that really touched our hearts. Upon check-in, they provided local fruit and apricot tea; before we left, hearing we enjoyed them, the staff even packed a lot for us to take home – a testament to the genuine warmth and hospitality of the people of Northwest China. The room facilities were new and user-friendly; this newly opened hotel in 2025 certainly didn't disappoint! Although the room layout was slightly compact, the reasonable arrangement didn't affect usability at all. The whole room had smart control; simply saying ”Xiaodu” controlled the lights and air conditioning – incredibly convenient. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, paired with comfortable latex or memory foam pillows, ensuring a restful sleep after a long day. The bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area, equipped with Jomoo bathroom fixtures and a smart toilet with heating, along with disposable toilet seat covers – hygienic and thoughtful. Given the dry weather in Dunhuang, the humidifier in the room was always full, and they provided ample bottled water daily, so we didn't have to worry about a dry throat. They even provided small bottles of laundry detergent – ​​such thoughtful details! It felt like staying at home. The public areas are also a huge plus. There's complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, and an ice maker on the first floor – super convenient for cold drinks in the summer. The hotel also has a self-service laundry room and a food delivery robot, so you can keep your clothes clean even after several nights' stay, without worrying about household chores. Hygiene is impeccable; the rooms are spotless, and the bedding is clean and odor-free, meeting standards comparable to hotels in first-tier cities. For such a great price, the hotel boasts a good location, warm service, and modern facilities – the value is incredible! It's perfect for couples, families, or solo travelers. I'll definitely stay at Youjian again next time I'm in Dunhuang, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Dunhuang."
