Dunhuang Hotels with Gym

The hotel is an old hotel, clean and hygienic, with thoughtful service. Because we arrived on New Year's Eve, we upgraded the room type. Xiao Du at the front desk was very nice, and reminded us that there might be no restaurants open for dining during the New Year. Coming from the south, I felt it was too dry, so I added a humidifier. In short, it was great👍

You won’t regret staying here. In summary it’s a very nice hotel (quite large actually) that is perfectly located (about 1km walking from the sand dunes (Mingsha mountain and Creacent Moon spring area). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the architecture is also really nice. The views from the roof top terrace (breakfast/ coffee spot) are amazing and the breakfast itself is also quite good. The downside that’s also to mention: Price wise it’s a bit expensive especially during holiday season. Rooms are a bit old and you can hear everyone passing by.

I came to Dunhuang late for the National Day holiday, and all the good hotels were sold out. Fortunately, I got this nice hotel, but it was a standard room without windows. The room was quite spacious and had a bathtub. The hotel is about four stars overall, and the breakfast is not bad. There is not much to eat around the hotel, but you can order takeout.

Accommodation in Dunhuang is relatively cheap in the off-season, and the service is also relatively good. The hotel is not far from Mingsha Mountain and is also relatively close to the Dunhuang Night Market. This hotel has airport pick-up service, which is very good. I booked it for one day and directly renewed it for 2 days. The hotel is clean and hygienic, so I won't say much about it. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, the toilet is electric, and the breakfast is very rich and superb.

I always stay at this hotel when I come to Dunhuang. It is convenient for transportation and you can walk to the Dunhuang Night Market. The service attitude is also very good. It is worth recommending.

As soon as we arrived at the underground parking lot of the hotel, two waitresses took the initiative to guide us to the elevator (the hotel is quite large) and rushed to help with the luggage. From the garage all the way to the front desk to check in and enter the room, all the staff we met took the initiative to greet us Happy New Year! It happened to be New Year's Eve, and the hotel also very considerately presented hot dumplings, so that we, the foreigners who spent the New Year in Dunhuang, also had a warm Spring Festival. Every staff member of the hotel was very enthusiastic. Special thanks to Sister Yin Yumei of the room service, who was even more enthusiastic and proactive. She cleaned the room very clean and tidy every day, and put the items in the most convenient place for the guests. The most surprising thing was that she also prepared hot foot water, towels, mats, etc., so that we could enjoy the feast of Dunhuang culture while eliminating the fatigue of the journey. This journey to Dunhuang again after a few years really left a good impression. I felt the continuous progress and development of Dunhuang and the cultural confidence of the people of Dunhuang! During your stay, you will find that the hotel staff are everywhere, and they always appear in time when you need them. Whether it is room cleaning, meal delivery or travel consultation, they will make you feel at home with their high professionalism and affinity.

It can be said that it is the hotel with the best overall experience of staying in this year. The trip to Dunhuang was delayed for a week due to the epidemic, and finally took place at the end of August. Recently, Dunhuang needs 24-hour nucleic acid to enter the scenic spot. There is a nucleic acid site next to the hotel. It only takes two or three minutes to walk. It does not delay at all after breakfast and nucleic acid every morning. The second is the hardware of the hotel. Although the equipment of the old hotel is not very modern, the lobby, boutiques, breakfast, closed parking lot, everything you need is there. The space in the room is just right, there is no fault or damage, and the linen is clean, tidy and comfortable. The hotel has its own yard, and it is very quiet at night. There are responsible security guards watching the car, so you can rest assured. It is important to praise all hotel staff, including but not limited to the front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast restaurant. Ms. Huang and Ms. Yang at the front desk will enthusiastically provide suggestions and answer questions. I can feel that they are really responsible and attentive. When meeting guests in the room cleaning aisle, they will take the initiative to say hello, wait for you to leave before leaving, and ask you enthusiastically if the room needs to be cleaned or replenished. The breakfast configuration is Chinese food, which is exquisite and delicious. The restaurant staff is very polite and unhurried. Really love this hotel! Location is very ideal, along a pleasant Main Street, around 5 to 8 mins walk to night market, yet away from the rowdiness of tourists. Just opposite there are convenience shops, a western bakery (Angelia) and stretch of small restaurants in an alley which are of good quality. Front desk services are fantastic especially helpful for foreigners ( though they don’t speak English- try to use e-translator), regarding local attractions and getting a cab for you if encounter difficulties. They are genuinely helpful to try to overcome your difficulties. Special mention on Ya Jin who even asked her regular taxi driver to accompany us to buy the Mogao Grottoes tickets and arranged for a long distance taxi trip to Liuyuan South Railway station. Wang Na also offered her WeChat contact number if we have difficulties coming back at night. Really warm hospitality. Even the hotel driver who fetched us from the airport was nice(complimentary service). The housekeepers are too hardworking. Only complain I have is the breakfast which served exactly the same thing every morning and of limited choices. Thus Angelia bakery just opposite was really a good alternative.

Our stay at this riverside hotel was pleasant, thanks to the nice and friendly personnel. They were consistently helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's excellent location by the river and close proximity to main tourist attractions (accessible by taxi) made exploring the city a breeze. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable retreat. While the breakfast was just okay, the reception staff's exceptional assistance stood out—they were always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, a reliable choice for those seeking a convenient and comfortable stay near key tourist spots.
