We arrived in Dunhuang at night, and the pick-up service arranged by the hotel was very heartwarming. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. You can see the beautiful scenery of Mingsha Mountain in the distance outside the window. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, making you feel like spring breeze. The hotel breakfast is delicious. The restaurant is on the 9th floor and has a large viewing platform where you can enjoy the beautiful Dunhuang. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel also provides yogurt, mineral water and seasonal fruits. The hotel's service details are very attentive. The Dunhuang landmark Rebounding Pipa is right in front of the hotel. It is very close to the Dunhuang Shazhou Night Market. It is only a 5-minute walk away. It is convenient for eating and transportation. You can take the No. 3 bus at the door directly to Mingsha Mountain, and there are direct buses to the Mogao Grottoes. I had a comfortable stay and had a lot of fun during my trip to Dunhuang. I hope to come again if I have the opportunity.

Location is very ideal, along a pleasant Main Street, around 5 to 8 mins walk to night market, yet away from the rowdiness of tourists. Just opposite there are convenience shops, a western bakery (Angelia) and stretch of small restaurants in an alley which are of good quality.
Front desk services are fantastic especially helpful for foreigners ( though they don’t speak English- try to use e-translator), regarding local attractions and getting a cab for you if encounter difficulties. They are genuinely helpful to try to overcome your difficulties. Special mention on Ya Jin who even asked her regular taxi driver to accompany us to buy the Mogao Grottoes tickets and arranged for a long distance taxi trip to Liuyuan South Railway station. Wang Na also offered her WeChat contact number if we have difficulties coming back at night. Really warm hospitality.
Even the hotel driver who fetched us from the airport was nice(complimentary service). The housekeepers are too hardworking.
Only complain I have is the breakfast which served exactly the same thing every morning and of limited choices. Thus Angelia bakery just opposite was really a good alternative.

Very affordable and great value for money with all the helpful front staff to housekeeping.
Just around the corner is the street food with lots of restaurants n the Shahzhou nite Market is just 15 minutes walk away.
I highly recommend anyone wishing to come to Dunhuang seeking reasonable and quality accommodation to stay here.

Enthusiastic and thoughtful, before getting off the car, the lady at the front desk came to help with the luggage, I was a little embarrassed 😆 As soon as I entered the door, I was served hot flower tea, which tasted quite good and fragrant 😁 Every time I went up and down the stairs, I was greeted with a smile, which made me feel much better! There was also hot milk, which was very heartwarming❤️
The hotel is located in the city center, quiet in the hustle and bustle, and it is very convenient to go anywhere. You can get a taxi anytime you go out, and the taxi drivers here are very enthusiastic and the fare is very cheap, which is very good 👍🏻
Let’s talk about the hotel’s facilities. It is very complete and brand new. There is a small space in the room, which is really a blessing for lazy people 😁 The room is not very big, but it is very warm and cozy! The hotel is quite spectacular and grand, with convenient transportation. The Dunhuang Museum is within easy reach, and it is also close to the Dunhuang Night Market. After dinner, I just walked back to the hotel to digest the food. The hotel rooms and bathrooms are large, and footbaths, bath salts and hot water are prepared for guests every night, which can relieve the fatigue of a day's play. It feels very good! The hotel breakfast is rich in variety, especially the bowl of beef noodles must be tried. The dishes in the Chinese restaurant are also delicious and the portion is quite large. The hotel service is warm and thoughtful, and guests are equipped with special housekeepers to provide various services, which is very good! The service was exceedingly good at ZhongZhou hotel. I stayed with my wife and had a second room for my daughter and son in law.
The lobby always had someone to open doors/press the elevator button for guests. What really stood out to me was the attitude of the workers. Breakfast typically starts at 7, when I mentioned I had to leave at 6:15, the worker at the restaurant told me to come early, and she would have it ready for me. Unfortunately no fitness center but the laundry room was a plus. There were also plenty of washing machines (no dryers).
This hotel truly felt like a second home. The rooms and beds were also comfortable and clean. A fantastic stay overall, would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at his hotel during my first two visits to Dunhuang. The hotel environment is very good and parking is convenient. On the second day of my stay, I encountered sandstorms and the hotel staff helped me wash my car. I took my children to visit the Dunhuang Museum, Crescent Lake, and rode a camel. The experience was very good. The Shazhou Night Market is also very good.

GGuest UserI went to this Starry Sky B&B during the summer vacation. Isn’t it magical? There is a small Crescent Lake next to the accommodation area. It is so beautiful. The room facilities are also complete. I slept very comfortably. The experience is really good. It is a separate area. , it is very quiet at night, no motorcycles will pass by. The most important thing is that the starry sky over there is really beautiful, the field of vision is wide, visible to the naked eye, there is no light pollution, and the effect is excellent. You can also set off fireworks there if conditions permit. , very beautiful

22morrowsworldVisited Dunhuang on several occasions before but Bowen Hotel is the best considering its rating and price. It's a 4 star and only 150 CNY per night. For this you get a well appointed comfortable room with a view of the river. The rooms are well set out with plenty of space, power points and light switches where they are needed, and a stable reliable and secure wifi signal. The Hotel is situated about 300m east of Dunhuang museum. So, still within walking distance of night market main street, bars, memory box cafe, bus no.3 to Mingsha etc
The bathroom is good quality with a glass enclosure for the shower unit, which has lots of space. The hot water system is responsive and strong, over 24 hours (-10°C outside). Good quality towels and a floor mat are provided and replaced each day by the effecient room service staff.who keep rooms spotlessly clean. The queen sized bed is super comfortable- not too soft or too hard. The double boutique room also has a coffee table, sofa and matching foot rest.
I especially appreciated the gym on floor 7. Limited but useful equipment (treadmill, weights). Another useful feature is a laundry service - also on floor 7. I was fortunate enough to interact with the hotel manager, (who communicates in English very well) and she arranged a taxi late at night to Liuyuan. Overall a pleasant hotel experience in a great oasis town. Will definitely stay again and recommend.

SSaharathThe hotel location is good, right in the city center. The exterior may look like an ordinary modern Chinese hotel but the guest room interior is quite nice. Modern with lots of electrical outlets.
The breakfast is simple but tastes really good. The best for this China trip for me.
The hotel also has a free pickup and dropoff service from/to Dunhuang Airport and Dunhuang Railway Station.
One of a few drawbacks for me is the shower room design. I mean construction wise, not decoration wise. Even though there is a circumference groove on the shower room floor to drain water, the swinging glass shower door leaves space at the bottom, causing water to spill outside and pool on the floor. The floor is marbled so it could be slippery.
Another is that even though I had the hotel's WeChat account and had tried to contact them, as I thought I would be able to use the translation function on the app, I was not able to reach anyone or get any response.

In summary it’s a very nice hotel (quite large actually) that is perfectly located (about 1km walking from the sand dunes (Mingsha mountain and Creacent Moon spring area). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the architecture is also really nice. The views from the roof top terrace (breakfast/ coffee spot) are amazing and the breakfast itself is also quite good. The downside that’s also to mention: Price wise it’s a bit expensive especially during holiday season. Rooms are a bit old and you can hear everyone passing by.

The beautiful lady at the front desk of the hotel was very enthusiastic when I arrived. She said that the air conditioner in my room had been turned on for me. GGuest UserThe room is very big, and you can see Mingsha Mountain from a distance from the window. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, which is convenient to use. In front of the hotel is the Dang River, which is convenient for viewing the night view. It is also not far from Dunhuang Bookstore and can be reached on foot. The hotel also provides airport pick-up and drop-off services. We made an appointment for the airport drop-off service when we left the hotel. At the appointed time, Master Liang was already waiting for us in the lobby and helped put the luggage on the car. The service was considerate and enthusiastic, which made us feel happy.

Because we arrived on New Year's Eve, we upgraded the room type. Xiao Du at the front desk was very nice, and reminded us that there might be no restaurants open for dining during the New Year.
Coming from the south, I felt it was too dry, so I added a humidifier.
