I went to this Starry Sky B&B during the summer vacation. Isn’t it magical? There is a small Crescent Lake next to the accommodation area. It is so beautiful. The room facilities are also complete. I slept very comfortably. The experience is really good. It is a separate area. , it is very quiet at night, no motorcycles will pass by. The most important thing is that the starry sky over there is really beautiful, the field of vision is wide, visible to the naked eye, there is no light pollution, and the effect is excellent. I feel that going to Dunhuang at this time is really the most enjoyable, there are not too many people, and the weather is not too hot! Many items can be played for a long time. It's relatively quiet at night. It's really interesting to lie in the tent with friends and watch the stars. It's really interesting to chat! Hotel location is more convenient, just next to the main road, there is a breakfast shop, barbecue shop, supermarket downstairs. But the hotel facilities are old, the health is general, there is no breakfast. Because the elderly were a bit tired, they continued for another day, but each room was added 100, to be honest, a bit pit. The worst time I lived in this trip to the northwest, it is worth my bad review: 1. Hot water is not available all day; 2. The hair dryer is going to the front desk to get it, the boss said that there is a memory to return it after use; 3. Hot water is not hot enough (other hotels are also solar energy, hot water is hot enough); 4. The toilet seat is broken, and the toilet has a smell; 5. Slippers provided are dirty and old; 6. The pillows are yellow; 7. No mineral water is provided

GGuest UserThe service was exceedingly good at ZhongZhou hotel. I stayed with my wife and had a second room for my daughter and son in law.
The lobby always had someone to open doors/press the elevator button for guests. What really stood out to me was the attitude of the workers. Breakfast typically starts at 7, when I mentioned I had to leave at 6:15, the worker at the restaurant told me to come early, and she would have it ready for me. Unfortunately no fitness center but the laundry room was a plus. There were also plenty of washing machines (no dryers).
This hotel truly felt like a second home. The rooms and beds were also comfortable and clean. A fantastic stay overall, would definitely stay here again.

Service: Very friendly. After parking the car, the hotel helped to carry the luggage in. Fruits were prepared in the room, and drinks were available. It was really generous! There was also a washing machine available.
Facilities: There are projectors, electric toilets, etc., all good
The most important thing is that the hotel is very close to Mingsha Mountain, and you can walk there without worrying about traffic jams. We went there on the first night. There were really 10,000 people at the concert. After the show, we walked back easily without worrying about not being able to get a taxi or traffic jams. The next morning, we went to play the beach project again. There were not many people in the morning, and there was no need to queue up for camel riding. After playing, we went back to take a shower and check out at noon. It was really convenient.

Comfortable and clean bedrooms.
Very well located, next to the crescent moon scenic area, also in front of the outdoor show and 3 mn far from the town center by car.
There is a shuttle bus to go to the town center and to the airport.
The staff at the front desk welcomed us very warmly, they are really nice and helpful.
The buffet breakfast is delicious and tasty, it is located on the roof top with view on the desert.
I strongly recommend you this hotel.

AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel is easy to find, it is very convenient to take a taxi anywhere, and it is close to several attractions in the city.
Facilities: The facilities are complete, mainly the hotel room is equipped with a humidifier, which is very considerate for people who are not used to the dry weather in Dunhuang.
Hygiene: The bedding, bath towels, and bathroom are very clean. After staying in the room and going out to play, the room will be cleaned and the bath towels will be changed every day.
Environment: Very quiet, very good rest.
Service: The service is in place, and they will ask in advance whether you need to bring breakfast or beef noodles across the street.
A hotel with a relatively high cost performance, I will choose it next time I come!

SSaharathThe hotel location is good, right in the city center. The exterior may look like an ordinary modern Chinese hotel but the guest room interior is quite nice. Modern with lots of electrical outlets.
The breakfast is simple but tastes really good. The best for this China trip for me.
The hotel also has a free pickup and dropoff service from/to Dunhuang Airport and Dunhuang Railway Station.
One of a few drawbacks for me is the shower room design. I mean construction wise, not decoration wise. Even though there is a circumference groove on the shower room floor to drain water, the swinging glass shower door leaves space at the bottom, causing water to spill outside and pool on the floor. The floor is marbled so it could be slippery.
Another is that even though I had the hotel's WeChat account and had tried to contact them, as I thought I would be able to use the translation function on the app, I was not able to reach anyone or get any response.

BBerrrrrrrrrWe got free upgrade to the suite so that was nice. Very pretty river view and not as noisy as some of the reviews I've read. Probably because the weather was getting chilly.
Room was very spacious, even for just the size of the bedroom alone. Bed was comfortable and not too soft. But I will say that the light switches in the rooms and also the smart toilet seat were very confusing. Strangely, it had a large bathtub area, but a separate and very squished shower closet. The water didn't quite drain properly also.
Breakfast was okay. But considering how the city really is just a town in the desert, I'd say it's actually pretty good. The local restaurants are also options, but we had to get up super early for day trips, and didn't feel like freezing outside to look for food when it's still dark. Side note, the night market in town is nice but not much going on outside of that area.
The hotel is not in the city centre, but since the city is small, taxi is the way to go. We actually end up just getting the phone number of one of the taxi driver, and called her whenever we planned to head out.
I chose the hotel based on aesthetics and was not disappointed. But our suite was in the end of a very long hallway, so get ready to walk if you are not near the elevator.

GGuoweiyuThere are few people in the off-season, and the boss came out to pick us up when we arrived. The hotel seems to have no heating, and the boss turned on the air conditioner to warm the room for us in advance. There is an electric blanket on the bed, so it doesn't feel cold at night.
The only drawback is that the water is not very hot at night, and the pillow seems a little dirty.
If you want to stay near Mingsha Mountain to watch the sunrise, this is a very good choice, highly recommended 👍👍👍

The pharmacy, supermarket, restaurant downstairs, and the Chinese Medicine Hospital opposite the hotel are very convenient for Baoma and friends with the elderly! The room is very spacious and the space is large. The most important thing is that the hotel staff is very warm. We arrived in the middle of the night. The front desk has been calling for the hotel to be afraid of not finding the hotel! We are very warm to arrive in a strange city! like! In addition, this hotel is very Buddhist. No one urges you to pay the room fee for the renewal of the room. You have to pay the room fee until you check out! In particular, I praised the beautiful sister at the front desk. GGuest UserI had 4 nights stay and liked this hostel room spacecious and clean. The owner 'Siao Fang' is very friendly and helpful even knowledgeable if any queries, he would delighted to share and guide you. The cleaning ladies help to clean the room daily and replenishment are sufficient. Hostel in a strategic location about 15 mins walk to D'un Huang night market and you can catch local buses to cressant desert with only RMB2 and Mogao Cave RMB5 only.
It is a worth for value and if I have a chance to be back to here in future, this definitely would be my first choice by heart and strongly recommend to all my friends. Thank You for your unconditional service and I have had a wonderful stay at your place
