Travelodge Dunfermline

Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely big, clean room and a comfy bed ensuring a good night's sleep. Located very close to the M90 allowing easy access to Edinburgh or north to the Highlands. Fantastic value for money. Would definitely recommend.

A clean and pleasant place. The parking was well placed and easily accessable for my requirements. The location is ideal for daily driving to Edinburgh via the local major bridge. The staff were very pleasant.

So clean and calm place to take a rest I would say it’s a cheap and best hotel ever I almost stayed 9 days in different travel lodge all of them were amazing.

Excellent place to stay that's close to Edinburgh but much cheaper to stay there and good public transport to get you to Edinburgh centre. Would recommend to friends and family.

Four letters - Nope! The supervisor on duty during our stay (Malvina) was utterly disgusting. Her attitude towards guests is a crazy next level. Cutting off people mid sentence. Not allowing us to explain our point or issue fully. Not willing to do her job and actually help us. All she did was argue. Not customer service trained at all and if she is then wow! When I asked to speak to her manager I was told she was the manager for that shift. I asked for an email to complain about her attitude and she told us she is not willing to give it to us for us to lie about her to her manager who was on holiday. Told us she has had enough of grumpy guests thinking they know right. Word vomiting policies that didn’t even fit our issue, if she had let us speak at all she might have understood what our issue with our room actually was. She also broke data protection by speaking about another guest in front of us basically saying she’d had a similar issue with them too. Maybe the problem was not the guest maybe it was the manager/supervisor?? The only thing to save our trip at Dunfermline travel lodge was the housekeepers. What a great hard working bunch they all out. During our stay we met 2 or 3 and they were all very helpful, they actually fixed the issue we had with the room that supervisor had refused to help with. That simple. So because you didn’t give me the email address to discuss the issue I had with the manager like a normal business, I have no option to post a negative review.

The key to my room would not work on the second night, so I they had to put me in another room until the morning, with no access to my luggage, my computer, my meds or even a toothbrush. There was no-one around who could fix the problem.

Friendly and clean hotel checked out on Sunday morning. A young lady Madie was very helpful and needed some recommendations about the area, and she knew what she was talking about. Very pleasant experience staff were happy to be at work. Thank you

Annie on reception is superb. Credit to her professionalism towards both customers and her staff. Housekeepers all lovely, giving us extra towels and coffee. Hotel clean and tidy at all times. Room just what you need but could do with a refurb as still old travelodge style. No restaurant at hotel but Annie suggested multiple in local area and also got us 10% discount at local coffee shop while we waited on our taxi. Will stay again.
