I had a confirmed reservation that was not honored although I communicated with both the GM and Kailyn at front desk of my delayed arrival. When arriving on Friday 10/5 Kailyn said she cannot accommodate and they are sold out. I asked to speak with a manager as she started yelling that she will call the cops and get me off property. At no point was I rude, or did anything to cause this out lashing other than informing her GM few days prior that she was very rude I was stranded with my daughter although I had a guarantee booking.

Second time here and again an excellent stay. Friendly welcome at check in. The hotel is clean and modern. The room was clean and spacious as was the bathroom and shower. The bed was excellent. A very good Hampton Inn style breakfast with waffles, hard boiled eggs, premade omelets , juice muffins and toast. The ladies in charge of the breakfast area kept everything filled and the area clean. The location is very good as Frenchy's Outpost is next door, the Honeymoon Island Causeway is right there, and downtown Dunedin is just minutes away. Again, a great stay.

Stayed at this Hampton for 5 days in early June 2024 having stayed at very many Hampton's I can honestly say this is one of the best the staff are nothing less than excellent keeping the hotel immaculatey clean the breakfast is very good and many options avaliable and the pool area is perfect. The highlight of our stay being older trevellers was the young lady assiastant manager Cailan Mason who went over and above to make us extra welcome and looking after us as if we were family. This young lady was realy great with her bubbly nature and genuine caring attitude a credit to the hotel though no doubt she would say it is a team effort . The hotel is perfectly for situated for honeymoon island great beaches easy to get to Dunedin 5 mins and Tarpon Springs 10 mins. Frencheys outpost excellent 50 yards away for seafood and a good Chinese and English resturant 300 yards away Publix nearby. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation we travelled here from Scotland and are glad we chose this hotel again many thanks to all the wonderful staff.

We enjoyed our recent trip to Dunedin and stay at the Hampton Inn. The front desk staff (particularly Michele and Cailan) were welcoming and helpful with our many questions. They patiently listened to our stories and provided some excellent recommendations. The breakfast, although fairly standard, was generous, frequently replenished, and seemed to have a lot of lovely little extras. We were treated well during our three day visit.

We stayed here for a 4 night stay to see the Blue Jays spring training. The entire stay was very enjoyable and pleasurable. The room had a great view of the bay and was very clean and functional. The front desk staff were very helpful and greeted everyone with some kind words and a smile. And the breakfast buffet staff worked very hard to keep the food available and the whole facility clean. Everyone seemed very happy to work there and it showed. We will definitely be coming back

Ivan was by far the best front desk person anyone could ask for. He remembered my name from the first day, always greeted me, everyone was helpful. The room was clean, beds comfortable, the only negative was that the pool was not working. Parking was great, breakfast just enough to start your day.

The hotel was recently built, so everything looks clean and modern. Room we booked had see views and was huge. Beds were comfortable. Staff were efficient and friendly. Good breakfast and fast wifi. There is covered parking available as well as outdoor.

Regular guest since the property was opened. Never disappointed. Great location. Staff is exceptional. Property is very well maintained and is always in perfect condition. Plenty of parking, some of which is under cover. Walking distance to restaurants, bars , grocery, etc.

Most things about this hotel were very good. It's bright and clean and still has that newish appearance. Others have commented on its favourable location but its quite a bit out from Dunedin town and you need to drive a distance on Honeymoon Island to find a suitable beach. We did have an issue on one night of our stay which was resolved by the granting of Hilton points but these things really should not happen in the first place. Frankeys adjacent to the hotel is an excellent place to eat.
