Great value for money accomodation. Location was amazing. Can be a bit noisy if you are looking out at the square. Very clean . Very comfortable twin beds and lovely shower. Looking around the hostel, it seemed what a hostel should be with different nationalities mingling in the kitchen and TV room. Easy checking in. Loved the place. Would recommend to anyone

Das Backpackers Hostel in Dundee verfuegt ueber sehr saubere Mehrbettzimmer mit Heizung und Dusche/WC. An der Sauberkeit der sanitaeren Anlagen gab es nichts zu meckern. Es war alles sehr sauber. Pflegeprodukte wie z. B. Duschgel, Toilettenpapier usw. waren auch vorhanden. Das Bett war auch sauber und bequem. Bei meiner Groesse war das Bett allerdings etwas klein. Ich bin ein 2 Meter Mann. Die Zimmer koennen nur mit einer Schluesselkarte geoeffnet werden und sind sehr sicher. Eine Selbstversorgerkueche ist auch vorhanden, genauso wie auch ein Gemeinschaftsaufenthaltsraum mit TV. Fruehstueck wird im Hostel nicht angeboten. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich sowie auch hilfsbereit. Das Hostel liegt direkt in der Innenstadt von Dundee. Sehenswuerdigkeiten, Restaurants, Museen, Kirchen, Bahnhof oder oeffentliche Verkehrsmittel (Bus) koennen zu Fuss vom Hostel erreicht werden. Leider ist das Hostel nicht behindertengerecht eingerichtet. Es sind Treppenstufen zu bewaeltigen. Ein Fahrstuhl ist nicht vorhanden. Handtuecher gibt es gegen eine geringe Gebuehr an der Rezeption. Keine 24Stunden Rezeption. Rezeption geoeffnet von 8 Uhr bis 24 Uhr. Nur Barzahlung moeglich. Jeder Gast kommt aber mit seiner Schluesselkarte zu jeder Zeit auch in das Hostel. Fremde Personen haben keinen Zugang zum Haus. Nichtraucher-Zimmer. Wuerde dort wieder uebernachten, sofern ich mich in Dundee aufhalte. Sehr empfehlenswertes Hostel. Gut und guenstig.

Rooms are lovely. However when I stayed, 2 Chinese men came into my room whilst I was in the shower. Receptionist didn't seem to care. Now I have written my review on Google, the owner has called me a liar about it. First they said I never stayed there, then they found my name from few years ago and stated how they didn't believe me. I will be making sure this review isn't pushed aside and I will not stand being called a liar when I'm not.

Staff were rude on the phone. It was like entering a prison. Check in was a nightmare with lock. Wi fi didn't work. The toilet wasn't clean before I came disgusting. The room hadn't been hoovered before I arrived. Decor looked 50 years old. Staff didn't care when I raised my concerns.
