Overall, we were impressed by the quality of the hotel. The staff was helpful and courteous, the room was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast had a good selection of options. Would definitely stay again or recommend to anyone looking for lodging in the area.

The room was clean and comfy, the tv and internet worked well, and the breakfast was definitely above average! We only stayed on night on our road trip, but we slept well & were quite pleased with the service from check-in to check-out.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast attendant was very attentive to keeping everything stocked and clean. Hotel was clean. Pool is rather small and not worth it.

Queen room, 208, next to elevator, very quiet, clean, average breakfast, good coffee. Pool small but water warm and clear. Water pressure good, nice safe and clean. I think we’ve found our new go to in Duluth. Easy across from mall, avoid the bigger hotels that are more noisy Thank you.

We loved every minute of it. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff was pleasant/nice as well! We didn’t realize it was high on the hill. When we arrived we were stunned. It’s a really nice spot. We’ll definitely be returning.

Took two days, and multiple requests, to obtain a working tv remote. The room was in need of repair - peeling paint, etc. The pool is very small, and there is no whirlpool. We are loyal AmericInn costumers and we have never had a negative experience before. We will not be staying here again.

It was very nice to see a hotel that had new carpeting and clean rooms the windows could be replaced though because they are hard to deal with even to close. No screens on them but they do open. The food was averagely poor at breakfast. No fruit at all. Slow service there. But like the rooms cuz everything has been updated and was a nice quiet environment contrary to the hyper hotels in the area with the water works

I got really sick and was in the ER. I called and told them I wasn't able to make it and they refused to refund me.

This AmericInn has been a welcoming place when we've had to stay in Duluth for medical appointments. Fresh water with lemons or cucumbers at registration is a nice touch. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Towels are large and soft. A very nice place to stay
