Villa Orabelle

The villa is located 15 minutes away from the Old City. The location shall not stop you from living in this fantastic villa with great sea view and wonderful services from the team there! Highly recommended!

Here now. 10:30 pm. Don’t book Room 4. Crazy amount of noise travels directly to your dark little concrete box of a room. Is staff constructing furniture? Demolishing tile floors? Hammering randomly on an anvil? It’s a mystery! Room service salad was warm, rubbery, soggy. Front desk and bell staff are very professional and friendly. Patio, chaise lounges, views, and setting are inviting, lovely. But so far, an overall bummer for the price. (11:07 now and noise has stopped.)

In a beautiful position looking out over the Adriatic and coast line towards the old town, of which is only a 20min walk from the Villa! This is a place to chill with some lovely relaxing areas to sit or lounge with furniture mostly positioned looking out over the amazing panorama. The Villa was full during our stay however it almost felt like we had the villa and staff to ourselves. Staff were informal however the level of service particularly at breakfast was well orchestrated. There was always someone on hand for drinks during other times. The room was fairly small but very well presented with a balcony looking out over a beach, the incredibly clear Adriatic and its coast line. There were some lovely touches and treats provided complimentary by the Villa. We loved Breakfast served outside on the veranda with a lovely choice of items from fresh fruit platters, fresh pastry’s to a fully cooked breakfast and much more. Service was spot on as previously mentioned. This was our first visit to Croatia and we can’t wait to return.

The hotel has a great position about a 15 minute stroll to Dubrovnik old town and our room was large and bright with a very comfortable bed. However, we felt our room was badly misrepresented when we booked. We thought we would treat ourselves to a spot of luxury for our last two nights in Croatia and booked a superior room with balcony and sea view. This comes, on the website, with a picture of a lovely room with a corner balcony and two windows facing at 90 degrees to one another. What we got was a bedroom room with a single window looking out onto a vast hotel 50 metres away, a steel barrier and the hotel car park, with the sea in the distance. We raised this with the management who said that most of the rooms in the category were like ours and they only had one that looked like the photo and that is the one we use in the publicity. We felt that this was unacceptable and deceptive. Also, before our stay, we e-mailed the hotel and asked if we could drop bags with them on the morning of our arrival in Dubrovnik. They e-mailed back to say 'Certainly, you can store your luggage at the villa and enjoy all of our facilities while you wait for your room to be ready'. We planned on that basis and arrived at 10:30 in a heavy rainstorm. We checked the bags in and asked if we could have a cup of coffee. 'No, the restaurant is full'. 'Is there anywhere else in the villa we could sit with coffee?'. 'No, but we can lend you an umbrella and you can walk to the cafe at the top of the hill (10 minutes away)' . Not many facilities on offer, it appears in reality To us, another case of the hotel over-promising and under-delivering.

Villa Orabelle in a stunning boutique hotel overlooking the Adriatic Sea, made even more special by the amazing staff. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the old town entrance (Pile Gate) with a regular bus service available close by if needed. The room and facilities were all great with breakfast on the veranda a real highlight. We highly recommend.

Villa Orabelle Dubrovnik is necessary when visiting Dubrovnik Croatia. This small luxury hotel offers all the amenities for a perfect vacation. All the rooms in the villa are unique and well-appointed with excellent bedding, and the amenities throughout will exceed your expectations with excellent Wi-Fi as well. Some rooms have open balconies with day beds for relaxing with stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. In the morning, guests get treated to an exquisite breakfast of fresh squeezed juices and smoothies, and freshly baked breads, homemade jams, freshly made hot dishes, all served to perfection. The restaurant offers both indoor and terrace dining for both lunch and dinner. Guests can enjoy an aperitivo at one of the two outdoor affinity pools. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, always greeting you with a smile and willingness to help. Do yourself a favor, when you visit Dubrovnik for business or pleasure, stay at Villa Orabelle Dubrovnik. You will understand how it feels to get pampered from the minute you arrive until you must say “goodbye.” The hotel and staff are amazing. We cannot wait to come back! This is a fabulous small hotel - at times it felt like staying in private staffed villa. We spent one day by the pool and were the only people there. The staff were great and we were well looked after. We really enjoyed the breakfasts sitting on the terrace. It was a first class experience for our honeymoon
