Although the hotel is not large, but the location is convenient, the hotel elevator goes straight to a small beach and can swim. Hotel service is very warm, arrived at the hotel at noon, although the room is not cleaned for a while, the hotel will send complimentary drinks, while enjoying the sea view and rest. Although it is a little far from the old town, it is ideal for relaxing because there are supermarkets and pharmacies nearby in a quiet location. The water area was clean, and there was shampoo in the shower room. There was no room cleaning, but towels were changed upon request. They were very accommodating, and check-in and check-out were smooth. The location is a little hard to find and climbing the stairs is difficult, but I'm glad I stayed.

The acommodation is for backpackers. Location is a little far from the Old Town. The owner lives in the property and manage the rooms (call him before arrive). He's a kind and helpful man, but there are some problems... cleanliness could be better (I felt some dust on the flor, probably from previous guests coming from the beach with sand on the feet or sandals). There's no extra toilet paper (fortunately it was not necessary). There's no toiletries (only some left overs from previous guests, like an almost empty bottle of shampoo from Israel). There's no breakfast and not many options around the hotel. Maintenance should be better, because some lamps in the bathroom were not working. There's a fridge in the room and a balcony.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the Royal Neptun for 1 week, it is 1 of 3 hotels forming a complex - Neptun is a 4 star and the other 2, 5 star and we could definitely see the difference. The highs, the location is outstanding, the walk along the promenade to the bars and restaurants, superb. The roof top bar and pool, amazing place to have drinks and watch the sunset, the pizzas in ‘on the rocks bar’ yummy, food and setting in Zoe was well worth the money, and the massage in the spa was one of the best I’ve had. So why only 3 stars: we checked in, other guests checking in were offered support with their luggage which we weren’t, maybe only for the 5 star, we didn’t mind but just noticeable. We walked into our room, first sight clean and tidy but then started to notice the red and white stains on the carpet, broken shower and safe, bathroom door sort of fixed. Breakfast was not a pleasant experience at all, it is not big enough for the size of the hotel, lots and lots of people walking around looking for tables, no management overseeing the flow of customers, staff moral appeared low, no one was smiling, would pass and not acknowledge you, when trying to attract attention it was like they looked through you and go in a different direction. Food ran out very quickly, all meats, cheeses etc were not covered and I could see the flies landing on it, the queue for omelettes was at least 10mins so big gathered all around where other guests were trying to eat. Pool area, as this is a family hotel was really surprised to see glass being used, 1 time were saw a glass break and a little boy cut his foot and second a wine glass broke and the stem ended up in the pool - no one was asked to leave whilst it was cleaned. This hotel has the making of amazing place to stay so hoping this feedback will help make the tweaks it’s needs.

GGuest UserMy fiancé and I visited for 4 nights as he was taking part in the Dubrovnik triathlon. We booked with EasyJet Holidays and had a private transfer to and from the airport. Our driver both ways was excellent. On the journey into Dubrovnik he stopped at a viewpoint so that we could see the Old Town for the first time. Our driver on the way back to the airport told us more of the local area that we had started to see. First impressions of the hotel were really good. Impressive entrance and lobby area. The bedroom had a beautiful view of the sea, the nearer islands and the distant coastline. The room had a good sized wardrobe with hangers. There was a well stocked minibar if you want that kind of thing and what we thought was a welcome bottle of wine but actually had a sign next to it to say it was part of the display and chargeable. There are no drawers in the room so for a couple staying longer than we did, there is inadequate storage. The bathroom is stocked with nice shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, shower gel and body lotion. The pool area was clean but we only used the inside pool which was on the top floor which was a lovely space. The pool temperature said 27 degrees but was very cold. The jacuzzi was really nice as was the sauna and steam room! The reason for a low rating given that this is advertised as a 5 star hotel was the food, especially the evening meal, which was dreadful !! The breakfast was passable but I’ve eaten in better cafés !!! The restaurant was open until 10pm and one night we got there at 8.30 pm and the second time 9pm so nowhere near the end of service. We had to attract attention to order drinks. There is very little choice for starters. There were piles of soup bowls but no soup. The main course consisted of mostly overcooked meat or small bits of fish. The ‘veg’ last night was a choice of a pea slop in some form of gravy, a beetroot risotto that had no moisture and no taste and either potato pie or what I would call a hash brown. My fiancé and I got a selection of desserts as we’d hardly eaten anything and absolutely nothing had any taste or moisture - no ice cream, cream or custard available. Not even a cheese board and crackers. A really nice touch (not !) is that absolutely no one comes near to clear away dirty plates after each course and therefore you end up with a pile of leftovers and crockery in the middle of your table. Not a good thing at all !! The location of the hotel is very good and the No. 4 bus stops right outside and takes about 15 minutes to get to Pile and the entrance to the old town. (Get the Dubrovnik Pass which not only gives access to the City Walls and museums but also gives free bus travel). We ended up eating out twice because of the food and thank goodness we did; on a recommendation from a friend we went to the Panorama restaurant on our first night which is at the top of the cliff accessible via cable car - stunning views ! GGuest UserThe hotel reached out to confirm when we were leaving the airport as they are not staffed all times. We provided updates but there was some miscommunication when I said the shuttle bus arrived at the airport around 3 pm so she could gauge when we would get to Old Town. When we finally arrived in old town via the shuttle bus 40 minutes later and got to the hotel, Anamaria seemed a slight bit pass ag as she thought I meant the bus arrived at Old town and took longer than expected. Nethertheless she was there to give us the keys and we were able to get into the room.
There was no lift to the room so it makes luggage a bit difficult, but manageable. The room was modern but very marbly and was comfortable. At night the noise from the hallway was a bit loud on the first floor as the stairs creaks and there is extremely bright hallway lights coming into the room from the hallway. I suggest earplugs and night mask.
The location was incredible right in the heart of Old Town and checking out was very easy.

GGuest UserThis hotel's main fault was it had bad air conditioning. We called for help and ours worked fairly well but others in our group had issues with the heat in their rooms. We had a dinner buffet which was so so without many choices of food nor very tasty food but the dining area was pleasant. We had a nice view from our room which could see the sea in the distance. And the walk to the old town section of Dubrovnik was fairly easy down hill. There was a bus #4 to get back up the hill to the hotel from the nearby square where the Pile Gate access is located. You first buy a ticket at the little kiosk across from where the bus picks you up for just under 2 euros. The hotel's pool had delightfully cool water.

코코이Very close to Dubrovnik main street. The host is friendly and explains the city of Dubrovnik with a map and guides you to a nearby mart. It was a different experience that I felt like I was at a friend's house in Europe. Other units are well equipped ㅎㅎ amenities are only hand wash, so I think you should bring them.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, hot, high-pressure shower. Convenient location to take the number 6 bus straight to Old Town, but be aware the bus is VERY crowded even in mid September. Avoid during peak season as I think this would be a nightmare. €2.50 one way, runs every 15 mins, 20-30 mins ish. Can pay by card on the bus. Taxis to old town approx €20 one way. Walking 1 hour +. Free parking at the hotel, but the rest of Dubrovnik is a nightmare, so probably not worth renting a car unless you’re travelling outside the city. 15 - 20 mins walk to several nearby beaches (stoney, no deck chairs to rent off-season that we could find). 15 mins walk to some restaurants by the harbour, but an uphill walk back to the hotel. Slightly underwhelming breakfast in terms of quality, but a good selection which was kept topped up by attentive staff. The hotel does not serve lunch or dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Please listen to me when I say this this not the place for you. Let me preface this by saying, I have worked in hotels and completely understand that things break and it’s out of our control. It’s the complete lack of communication from the management that I take issue with. To start, when I booked through ******* weeks before my arrival I messaged the hotel and asked if I could come store my bags since I would be there prior to check in time. No answer. That should have been my first clue about their atrocious customer service. I forgot about it until the day before and messaged them again via *******. Still no answer. I found them via WhatsApp and messaged them at 7:29 am. Almost three full hours later they finally responded that yes, I could drop my luggage off (spoiler alert- I had given up on getting a response and already went straight to the property and dropped it off with the guy at check in). They also said that the lock on my door was broken and wouldn’t be fixed until the next day and they could provide other accommodation. Unfortunately I did not see their message because I was exploring old town and at the beach and didn’t realize there was an issue until I went to check into the room around 3:00 pm and could not lock the door. I went downstairs and informed the check in guy who said he would contact the manager. Ok no big deal, I thanked him and went back to my room and waited and waited, and finally contacted the manager via WhatsApp again and asked about another room if this one could not be fixed. They said there was no other rooms available tonight and that hopefully the repairman would be able to resolve the issue (3:45 pm). Why did they offer alternative accommodation if they had no rooms available?? I wait some more and finally decide I need to shower so I lock the bathroom door since I couldn't lock the actual room door. Fast forward to me being locked in the bathroom for a good ten minutes. Long enough for me to begin to panic because my phone was in the main room and would anyone hear me? I finally get the bathroom door open and clearly there has been no repairman during this time. I message the manager again (4:45pm) and asked if they knew when he would be here as I was getting very hungry now. I can see they are online. No response. Twenty min later I texted them a “?” Again I see them come online. Still no response. I finally just grab anything that important that I wouldn’t want stolen and head to dinner. In the meantime I contact ******* to make sure this whole situation is documented. The ******* representative also contacted the manager and did not get a response. 50 minutes later I message them again that this is unprofessional and unacceptable and also their listing is still showing on Kayak yet they said they had no rooms available. Like I said I totally get that these things happen. What upsets me is that their way of dealing with it was to completely ignore me instead of checking in and keeping me updated wi
