Castleknock Hotel

There is no commercial facilities around the hotel, but there is a golf course nearby. There is a park about 500 meters away. The environment is beautiful, comfortable, pleasant and very quiet. The hotel breakfast is very rich and the coffee tastes good. The gym is well-equipped and the swimming pool is clean. The room is clean and tidy, with bottled water. The front desk service attitude is good, and the restaurant service is warm, thoughtful and meticulous. I will definitely stay here next time.

InterContinental Dublin

The food was fantastic but everything is about 6 times the price. The service was great also but in comparison to other 5 star hotels it could of done with some work for example the it was my first time in the spa area and I didn't really get very good directions as to where everything was such as in the Marker hotel I was greeted, given a tour and treated as a king which is what you should expect from first class service.
Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge

Booked 3 nights at Clayton Ballsbridge during the Dublin horseshow and had great stay. The hotel is an impressive building with superb grounds in a perfect location for RDS/Aviva and only a short distance to city centre and temple bar. There is ample car-parking on-site. Our room was spotless, spacious and well equipped. The bar/dining area is large and functional and despite being busy during horseshow week there were plenty of staff on hand limiting waits. Food and drink were first rate and the live music/positive atmosphere enhanced our stay. Reservation staff were very helpful via email in advance of our visit and special thanks to one of the management I think, Simon who was especially supportive. A member of our group had a disability but their needs were well catered for. Have already booked a follow up stay and looking forward to returning.

To be honest, I think this hotel is perfect. The location is superior, it's convenient to go anywhere, and you can eat all you want. It is also very close to the Chinese restaurant area, just a short walk across the river. It is also very close to Holy Trinity. The bed is good, the bathroom products are good, the tea and coffee provided are very high-end, and the Internet speed is fast. Just one point, the city of Dublin drinks non-stop for 24 hours. The sound in the bar area is too loud at night. It's not music, but the sound of people who drink too much continues until three o'clock. I'm really sleepy. I must prepare earplugs. Would stay here again but I would use earplugs. Parking is across the road, we originally paid 40 euros, but after the hotel gave a coupon, it was 19 euros, which is not bad.

OK let me explain before you book!! Harcourt Street is a busy area with noisy nightclubs from Thursday onwards - maybe other days too but not sure about that so if you are not going clubbing etc and you get a room.at the front - you won't get much sleep because its very noisy and then you have the Luas (Tram) that runs all night!! If you are a bad sleeper and get a room at the front - forget about sleep!!! Earpods won't even drown out the noise!! I would definitely stay again though because of location- 5 mins walk to Grafton Street etc... Fast check in - room basic but spotless and had a bath too which was great!! I didn't eat so can't comment!! Staff v polite!!
