We were traveling with 5 girls, and had a 6 person mixed room. Every night we had a new roommate, which was not a problem for us. The last night a strange older man came who behaved strangely and inappropriately during the night, which made us feel very uncomfortable. We reported this to the reception and they were very understanding and good about it. They moved the person that night. The shower in the room was boiling hot and we could not adjust the temperature. We mentioned this to the reception several times. They kept saying that they would come and look at it, but this never happened. The toilet also did not flush properly! We had to wait for about 5 minutes before you could flush. If you are only with people you know, this is not a problem, but for a shared room this is not so pleasant because you could not flush normally. Furthermore, the floor was completely covered with carpet with some irremovable stains on it. The carpet felt very unhygienic. Right next to the hotel was some kind of nightclub which made it super loud at night during the weekend. For a good night's sleep, pleasant shower or toilet visit you are not at the right address here.

3 friends and I from Glasgow stayed at the Dawson for 1 night. We really enjoyed our time here, had a great stay! Staff and other residents were very friendly and accommodating, and the room/beds were lovely and very clean. Location is very central handy for various sites and we would definitely come back again

En positif, Il faisait propre, et ce n'est pas trop loin du centre et du parc En négatif, tout le reste je dirais. La boîte de nuit juste à côté du dortoir, pas l'idéal pour se reposer après une journée de marche.et personnel pas très acceuillant. a éviter un samedi soir, vu que c'est la fête le weekend à Dublin et prendre des bouchon à oreilles

I stay in alot of hostels but this was easily the worst nights sleep I've ever had. Mattress was like a rock. If you needed to be under a roof for the night then I can confirm you'll be indoors but that's about as much as you can expect. I'd have slept better in the car.

Very bad service and unprofessional staff who barely communicate in English. The entry was blocked by drunk clubbers and the reception reaked of all sort of stink, ver miserable place indeed . The hostel is next door to a loud club the floor was shaking with bass, if you plan on having a good night sleep say goodbye to that. Overcrowding is another issue and I wonder how such a thing is allowed .

The staff excellent. Room perfect. The manager Vladimir and the Lady boss are just the best ever. This place have to be the best hostel in Ireland. Period. Great place to stay for anyone. Staff,from India,Spain,Argentina....Great people.........

Guys 10/10 please!!! Will be back! I have no words for the staff and their service. Im 7 months pregnant and the comfort they make you feel is unreal. Drink on arrival and we got a hot choc after their service. We will be back sooner than we thought.
