Dublin Hotels with Gym

We needed a place to stay overnight on our way home from Savannah. I made the reservation last minute. The hotel was very clean. The floors shined, it was very nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good but hard to access due to a Highschool baseball team staying there. They ate everything that wasn’t nailed down. Kids eat a lot! We did manage to get some food though. I like this hotel and will likely stay again when traveling to and from Savannah.

Great hotel with helpful staff. They treat you like family. Book early to get the best rates. This is not the average off the freeway hotel/motel as there are a few of them off I-16 on Exit 51, however, this is the only Marriott hotel in the entire city of Dublin, GA. I like the Marriott. I like clean rooms, the complimentary hot breakfast and ample free parking are a plus. I've stayed here at least 100 times, literally, and probably had a concern at most twice, that they've quickly resolved. At 98% they've clearly earned my repeat business. I called to book a block of rooms for an upcoming family reunion 5 weeks ago. I left a message with Elaine who was unable to provide me with the information requested stating I needed to speak with the GM James. Some I had not received a return call I called again a couple of weeks later. Still no information was available on my request. I called yet again this morning. James (the owner) was at the location but was too busy freeing his face to answer my call. Instead he provided Elaine with the information I was seeking ($159 per night for a block of rooms) which I thoght was excessive. I requested to speak directly to James since I had placed several calls and waiting to speak directly to him. To quote James ”I am not selling my rooms at a cheap rate if you can book them today on the web for a lower rate” In speaking with James; he was the most rudest person I've every spoken with in hospitality! When asked for his bosses information he quickly let me know that he was the owner of this and other franchisees in Georgia wi operate under the name of PACK MANAGEMENT INCORPORATED. James provided me with other hotels within the area which indicated he did not want our business. To sum it up, my husband and I have been a platinum elite member with IHG for over 25 years. What that nabs is we have exclusively use this chain of hotels for many stays throughout the US and abroad. I have never been spoken to in this manor by anyone in the hospitality and I will not tolerate it now. Due to the hotel being a franchise, I contacted Holiday Inn Corporate office who oversees the franchisees and filed a complaint. Keeping in mind that when you're operating under someone else's trade name, in other to continue, their standards must be met otherwise their are consequences for your failure to do so. By the way, I had taken the opportunity to read to corporate other negative reviews posted as I filed my complaint! Satisfaction guaranteed!

Truly the most comfortable bed and pillows. Brand new mattress. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Kris and Lucy at the front desk were kind and helpful. The room was a “little tired” showing wear. But not a concern. Truly an excellent value. Had everything we were looking for - clean, comfortable, safe and quiet place for a night on our road trip.

Just off US 441 on I-16, find us within walking distance of several restaurants. Southern Pines Water Park is less than two miles away, and Riverview Golf Course is six miles from our hotel. Our suites include fully equipped kitchens. Complimentary breakfast, our fitness center, and an event room complete your stay.
