We changed to this hotel at the last minute and I'm glad we did. The location is excellent (opposite the Green Vault museum - well worth a visit), and the buffet breakfast was very good - well-stocked, with lots of hot options. Best of all was the executive lounge which came with our business category room. The lounge had a great range of beer, sodas (we loved the rhubarb soda,) and cheese, bread, ham etc at 6pm, plus an excellent selection of coffees - it was a lovely place to hang out rather than head to a restaurant. Our room was large - as pointed out in several reviews, the sink area is 'open-plan' but the shower and loo are behind closed doors! Dresden was only a pit-stop for us on a long European trip but we were so glad we made the detour and to this hotel. (NB: the spa/sauna area in the basement is good but the sauna is 'textile free' - ie nude - which was a shock to these UK travellers!)

Hotel location is very good, next to the Grand Palace. You can even see the hotel in the Grand Palace. You can walk to all the attractions. This trip to 9 cities for 22 days, the most expected is Dresden. The world's most beautiful baroque buildings are here. The city that used to be in East Germany, because it was dark, there was a feeling of the domestic 80s before arriving in the city. After dawn, the hotel was still amazing. The buildings are very magnificent, and it is quite different to change the traditional Gothic style.
The hotel room is very crowded and can open a box when there is a sofa bed. The place is small and can't get down. The hotel and other hotels share an elevator, and the front desk is on the sixth floor. The room is very far from the elevator, and you have to walk through the corridor to get to the room. There is no problem with the facilities themselves and the staff is very good. Maybe I will stay next time, but I will definitely note the room near the elevator.

The information is a bit misleading, the hotel is quite agood bit out of the town centre. Probably a 25 minute walking quickly. We, both 80+, needed a taxi to get to the start of the hopon-hopoff bus terminus. We only discovered when we arrived that the resuarant was not open due to alterations. Fortunately the very helpful receptionist ordered us a takeaway pizza and sugested we relax with a beer until it came. She was the first of a succesion of charming staff we dwelt with. Our room had good hanging and shaelf space but somehow did not strike one as being well designed. The bathroom on the other hand was. There is no fridge but has tea/coffee and kettle. We had a blocked basin, a handyman arrived very promptly and cleared it. There is a marvelous backery and coffee shop across the road in the Rowe Building, and a small supermarket. For a great evening meal and a wonderful view ask the hotel to book you a table at one of the restuarants in the Yenidz. The old cigatte factory almost next door.

Lovely hotel. Great staff. Check-in and checkout perfect. Rooms clean, good size, wifi perfect, very comfortable all round. Great feature is the convenience store in the lobby with a variety of snacks, wine, beer, etc. Excellent location at the edge of the historic centre. Good value for money. We stayed in this hotel twice during the last month. The first time we had a little suite on the top floor of the Bastei. This was fine, if a little bare. Checkin and breakfast were fine. The second time we found ourselves in the annex, the Konigstein. Check in at the Bastei was poor with 20 minute queue. The annex had a fast food stall across the front and entry is by room card. The lift was dirty when we arrived and smelled of vaping and did not work properly. The impression is of an unmanned operation. The room was on the 6th floor and was noisy during the evening, from the very busy street below. At breakfast we were instructed to sit at a table already occupied by another guest and the staff member was aggressive with us saying the nicer tables were all for groups. No sign of these by the time we left of course. Also over-zealous table clearing, go to the buffet for more and your cutlery and coffee are gone. So better check in, maybe safes in the better rooms, and some serious staff training about customer service, rather than bullying.

This is an outstanding hotel. It is located across the street from the train station, but is incredibly quiet. The place is immaculate and the interior design is very well done. The hotel was remodeled in 2021 and it looks brand new. Staff was very attentive and fluent in English. The room was decent sized for a European hotel. We were able to leave our bags in the hotel after checking out so we could tour Dresden before taking a train out of town. It's one of the nicer hotels we've stayed at in recent years

Communication with reception workers as a English speaking person not quite good. There is need to have an English speaking reception worker. No shower caps in the shower, little interaction with guests..... Rude reception lady (short one) when spoken to in English- her respone was like - ”i cant undestand what you are saying” in a rude manner. The tall lady and gentleman were very polite and hospitable. when i was finally leaving, just past five minutes after check out time, some worker at the door checking on me yet i was just about to get out, already packed. He told me the same reception lady had sent him. That was rude... Give a guest like 15min to leave as you have the whole afternoon before the room is occupied again. on saying bye to the reception lady she didn't respond. could be racism as i am from Africa i guess. Poor lady receptionist..... I was just a traveller not a resident and nothing to lose from her attitude.... I would not recommend the hotel again knowing she's still there. need for extra training i guess or ouright racism. no dinnner made even for purchase outside booking terms, quite low in that.... not good for traveller with kids due to that..... The room was good though, clean and serene, breakfast excellent, excellent service at breakfast time by staff in the kitchen

It was nice that the lights were bright, unlike in a European hotel.
It was close to the downtown area so it was great for shopping.
The Christmas market and tourist attractions are a bit far, but you can walk there in about 20 minutes.
It was convenient because it was close to the train station.

Das Apartment ist auf jeden Fall seinen Preis wert, ich buchte allerdings weit im voraus, und das im März, also Nebensaison, wo es wirklich sehr günstig war, immerhin hat es Küche und einen großen Balkon Richtung ruhigem Innenhof. Es gibt allerdings keine Rezeption, man erhält eine halbe Stunde vor der Eincheckzeit (15.00 Uhr) per Email Codes und eine Anleitung, die schlicht kompliziert ist. Dann stellte sich raus, dass die Hausnummer nicht stimmte (der Komplex Wallstraße hat mehrere Hauseingänge, in denen sich Limehome-Apartments befinden). Und dann ließ sich der Hauseingang mit den angegebenen Nummern nicht öffnen. Nach Wartezeit erreichte ich Limehome telefonisch, mir wurde gesagt, ich solle die Tür nach dem Piepston ziehen, aber es gab keinen Piepston, offenbar kaputt. Irgendwann gelang es mir, zu öffnen (diese Probleme begleiteten mich vier Tage lang), dann stimmte der Code für die Apartmenttür im 5. Stock nicht. Am Telefon wurde mir schließlich ein neuer Code gegeben, mit dem ich die Tür öffnen konnte. Dann kriegt man den nächsten Code, mit dem die Tür ab diesem Zeitpunkt aufgeht. Geht's noch komplizierter? Ich habe in den Tagen darauf mehrere verzweifelte Gäste am Gang telefonieren gehört, die teils überhaupt nicht in ihr Zimmer kamen. Apartment ist zwar groß, aber unpraktisch eingerichtet. Winziger Sofatisch, sehr wenig Platz im Bad, Mini-Nachttisch und keine TV-Programmübersicht (tatsächlich gab es nur ganz wenige funktionierende Programme). Große Küche mit Kaffeeautomat. Für mich am schlimmsten: Es gibt keine Heizkörper, offenbar gibt es eine Bodenheizung, man kann nur den AC-Schalter auf die höchste Stufe stellen. Das nützt wenig, es war in den vier Tagen winterlich kalt in Dresden, ich habe im Apartment gefroren, vor allem, weil ich wegen des Wettes dort viel Zeit verbringen musste. Lage, wie erwähnt, dafür perfekt, 5 Gehminuten zum Zwinger, also zur Altstadt, zwei Supermärkte im Gebäudekomplex, Cafés (laut, kalt und unfreundlich) in der Nähe. Straßenbahnhaltestelle vor dem Gebäude, nur wenige Minuten Fahrt zum Hauptbahnhof.

Very well located and run, Must have been built 50/60 years ago and would have been a showpiece hotel in DDR times. So, steps in odd places and a retrofitted lift. Would be a bit awkward for a wheelchair. Now fully renovated to a determinedly 3-star standard, ie only one room chair and that upright, limited toiletries, austere art/free decor. But a spacious very clean room and bathroom, good breakfast. Curiously we were asked if we needed the room cleaned every day. Rather pricey- but this is central Dresden.

GGuest UserA much better location of a hotel is hardly imaginable. Whoever stands in historical old towns is right there, because he is in the middle, right in the center.
As regards the cleanliness and equipment of our room, there was nothing to defect, quite the opposite. All that you need is available. The breakfast booked is stored in the Italian restaurant next to it, but it does not stop all, since you have direct access from the hotel. The breakfast itself is very rich and for everyone certainly what it is.
We booked the hotel for a night after a concert visit, which went until 22:30. At this time, it seems impossible to have a free seat in the many existing gastronomic facilities around the old market, because everything is occupied. I would have liked to have a sack in the hotel, but it is unfortunately impossible. But whoever doesn't necessarily make it on it, I can only recommend this hotel. What is also something sporty is when you travel with your own vehicle, the park search. But also there you will be helped at the reception, there are recommendations for parks nearby, where free capacity is also checked in the front desk.

This hotel is very modern and clean. Nice rooms. Great staff. Would have given 5 stars. But there is an issue In the washrooms. There is NO place where you can put your shower gels in the shower. Excepted the bottom floor of the shower itself. As you can see in the photos this is a huge issue for elder people and a possible hazard. Seniors can not bend so far down to pick up the shampoo or shower gel once they are in the shower. And there is no alternative to put them somewhere else. Overall my stay in this new hotel was very positive. It offers a good price-performance ratio, a central location and friendly service. I would certainly recommend it for a short stay! The hotel was more than satisfactory for the price I paid. The combination of location, service and cleanliness makes it a recommendable choice. Breakfast buffet was surprisingly varied. There was a good selection of breads, cutting, musli and even fresh fruit. There was something for every taste.

GGuest UserIt is far from the center. I was driving: I am not critical. There is no problem with parking: you can pay to park in the hotel, or you can park opposite or behind the hotel for free.
The hotel itself is shabby. A little old
The place is dirty: there is dust on the bedside table and the walls in the hallway are scarred. need to repair.
I like the bathtub: a complete bathtub (not a shower), underfloor heating-good.
There is a free bar in the room))))
I didn't bring breakfast, I can't appreciate it. The lobby bar is open until late and has a pool table. There is a small aquarium with cute reptiles in the lobby.

GGuest UserÜblicherweise sind die Courtyards immer ein wenig bäh. Ganz anders hier. Toll geführtes Haus. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, das WLAN schnell und stabil, Fenster sind zum öffnen und das Leselicht am Bett ausreichend hell. Die Gym ist gut ausgerüstet und das Personal angenehm aufmerksam. Toll, liebe Sachsen. Finally, dass Frühstück ist vom Feinsten, ich komme sehr gern wieder. Bitte vorher dann die Haribomischung im executiv Bereich verstecken, ich kann nicht widerstehen ;)

Highly recommended! Central location just few minutes away from prime tourist attractions of Dresden. Excellent value of money. We stayed in family room with kitchen, specious enough for 4 adults. 2 TVs. Free sparkling water (2 bottles) on arrival, soap and shampoo are available in dispersers. No safety box. Good variety for breakfast, there is even a special kids corner with kids plates and cups, juices, candies etc. Free underground hotel parking.

GGuest Userdecent internet speed and wifi coverage. rather small room, but it (+ open access guest kitchen) had all you need. Glad thta this area not as tightly populated, so we could find free on-street parking 10m from entrance, instead of paying for parking to hotel.
