We were pleasantly surprised at this ****** Resort. It's a lovely hotel, and our room was huge as was the bathroom! The decorations are outstanding. The check-in and check-out were easy. Some of the restaurants were closed, but we enjoyed eating at the Sugar Factory. Great food! And the ****** is fun with a lot of games to play.

Have been here several times as part of family trip. Rooms are spacious along with bathroom. Plenty of restaurants within driving distance of hotel. In the past, we have been able to check in early if the room was available however since our last visit they have started charging an early check in fee which seems greedy since the hotel makes plenty of money off the ******. This is the only hotel that o have stayed at that charges an early check in fee. If I hadn’t been with my parents and aunts who were excited to be there, I wouldn’t have paid that fee.

Stayed here for one night because it was the most reasonably priced in Dover. Room was surprisingly quiet. It was clean. Frost desk staff was helpful. The shower was disappointing, very little water pressure due to what I suspect were mineral buildups on the shower head. Comfortable bed. Overall, a good place to stay.

I used to live here in Dover as I was in the military here. I’ve been out for some years now, but work brought me back in the area. I still had some Dover Down chips ($58 to be exact) and I brought them and asked if they could exchange them or even give me the value in free play. They refused to do it. Said thanks for your service but that service wasn't good enough to get $50 in free play to exchange for my chips I held onto. Piss poor customer service and zero appreciation for someone that served. It’s not like I had $500 in chips…they give out free play money ALL THE TIME. Do not support a scummy ran business like this one.

Stopped here on our way home from Rehoboth to play at the ******. Surprisingly bigger then I thought it would be. Very clean. The slots were very tight. All of us lost very quickly without very little wins. Signed up for the card, they offered free slot pay but you had to earn 5 points. I thought that should be easy. Nope…. There is no “****** bar.” All of the bars are technically not part of the ****** and you can’t play and get a free drink sitting at the bar. I never did see a server walking around. Overall, I would say check it out at least once. To be fair, I was there on a Monday afternoon.

Just a Sour Note... $25 dollar for early check-in fee is bad business. Seems like a cheesy way to hustle customers. No valet service was available. Was told that "The youngsters don't come to work!" Then, while ******** at the computerized roulette gaming, on the night of Sunday, December 18th, I observed a fight behind me at the Fire & Ice lounge area! (Females) It was very unnerving, a little scary and uncomfortable to gamble with that going on. The altercation wasn't just scary to watch, but to observe the response time of security and how senior they were. They could barely walk let alone secure or separate anything. While I'm all for the support of our elderly, it has to be an age or point of health that prohibits some jobs. After the altercation my mode and energy was so disturbed and interrupted I began just walking around playing an occasional slot and smoking my cigar on the back. I truly fear that your place of business isn't very safe as other local casinos. Please invest more into the ******. From better security, reestablishing a poker room, better table gaming, (especially poker if no poker room) more drink service staff, updated betting room with food, service and prop betting capabilities as well as live entertainment regularly in the lounge with better price offerings. I'm not a rich guy, for me to come up and stay in your hotel and lose a couple thousand dollars, I do hope to have a good time, good food in a safe environment. That's the least you can do! Regards, Eric

The room is nice. The coffee machine when I ran through just plain water was Brown and did not have the coffee or the little disc inserted. I went during the week and parking was atrocious. There is no valet. Parking for the hotel has only a couple spots on maybe three rows. Parking in general is a nightmare here. That for me is the biggest drawback.

This was a quick overnight for us. The customer service was awesome. The older gentlemen was super helpful. The men at concierge were also very helpful. Front desk staff were nice. My biggest issue was the $50.00 fee to check in early. That is completely ridiculous. We have stayed at very nice hotels, and resorts around the world and never experienced this. Vegas does not do this, Atlantic City does not do this. I travel for work often and never once have I had to pay to check in early. If our room is ready when we arrive, they let us in. Period. This place has a prorated early check in fee. Madness. The rooms are really dated and the bath towels are small but it served our needs. The bed and pillows were comfy. Two mini bottles of water were in the frisge. That size was a bit odd to me. I have not seen that anywhere. The steak place was so so. I had the surf and turf. The steak was salty and so was the lobster. My husband's 16oz was meh. The Mac and cheese was ok. The creamed spinach was good. The thick cut bacon was good but it had way too much fat on it. Like half of it was fat so we did not have much of it to enjoy. The crabcake was good, the lollipop lamb chop was good, the French onion soup was fabulous. It was my favorite dish of the night! Our waiter was awesome. Drinks at Sugar factory were good. You can never go wrong there. Customer service was great! We had a good time playing slots and the table games. If we are in the area again, we will likely stay here but I doubt we will make a trip specifically to visit.
