Freedom House B&B

Had a wonderful stay! We did a two night stay on our road trip from Florida to Acadia National Park and topped and Dover Foxcroft to visit family. The B&B was just lovely. Very comfortable bed in a large room. Just a real cute place. The breakfast was outstanding, as well as the hospitability shown by the proprietors. Enjoyed walking around the town and visited nearby Peak Kenney park.

Just completed a 2 night stay while visiting for a family function. Absolutely charming property! Clean, well appointed and offering an excellent (and filling!) breakfast. Walking distance to several restaurants and bars. Short drive to others and to local produce, pies and pastries. Mike and Elizabeth could not have been more gracious hosts. Classic New England understated hospitality! 5 stars all around!

Check in was simple, owner very friendly and accommodating, room was super clean! Bed was really comfortable.

Pleasant proprietors. Very comfy bed and walkable to nice cafe and pizza place. Great autumn tree colors to enjoy.

We so enjoyed our stay. We had the 3 bedroom apartment for 4 days. The bed was the most amazing bed I have ever slept in. We enjoyed the country charm of the set up of the B&B! Just know the stairs are very steep so this unit might not be for you, but this older 2 story houses had the steep stairs. If we were to go back we would definitely stay there again❤️

I couldn't sleep the first night because the little refrigerator in the room was making a horrible noise and I didn't know where it was coming from and didn't want to wake up my husband to look for it. We also wish we would have been alerted about the RSVP to breakfast and the added cost because we didn't get the email about it and you have to dig around to find out about it. We had asked what time breakfast was and that was a good time for them to tell us we weren't on The list.

Litte Gem It was a great place to stay for our hiking trip in the Moosehead lake region. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable. The room was great with all of the comforts of home. We would definitely recommend it if you are staying in the area.

We had a family reunion last week at the B&B — incredible breakfasts (worthy of a high-end hotel), and great time on the big front porch, and evenings around the back fire pit. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well decorated and very comfortable. The owners are lovely - helpful and friendly, but not intrusive. It was a very restful and fun place to stay.

Great place to reconnect with family. Great hospitality. Breakfast is delicious. We spent a week on a family reunion. Porch and fire pit area are excellent for sitting in a large group and talking for hours. Loved our time here.
