We are not happy staying here as made a booking from May 2023 direct with the hotel, only to be told by Emmanuellle on 29th November that our room has been cancelled and given to some other people! We are now looking for places to stay in Douala.. not a great first impression of my first time in Cameroon and first time using La Falaise Bonapriso. Definitely will be not be back to book here again as there is no security you will have a room when it was confirmed directly by email from May 2023 when I was in Australia. Garga has been amazing in trying to help us, but to have our booking cancelled by Emmanuelle and no where to go and no compensation for cancelling our room and giving it to someone else is really bad customer service for such a prestigious hotel. I had a great experience at AKWA Palace hotel. The reception staff are amazing especially Miss Kadija and Miss Sylie, I recommend this place to anyone who wants a pleasant and stress free environment. Personally I think it’s a 5star rather than a 4star hotel.
