Ein vielleicht in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, aber es entschädigt die tolle, riiiesige Einganshalle mit großem Fischteich, Wasserfall etc.alles über 2 Etagen, dazu eine nette Begrüssung und es kommt gleich ein Urlaubsfeeling auf. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön groß und geräumig. Die Badezimmer mit Badewanne/Dusche. Bie Betten waren sehr bequem. Die Lage ist recht gut, mit Bahnanschluss vor dem Haus, allerdings auch recht lärmintensiv (aber wozu gibt es Oropax). Die recht nette Innenstadt ist aber auch fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Das Frühstück reicht zum Sattwerden, aber keine Extras. Dafür ist der Preis aber auch unschlagbar.

Ich habe diesen Laden im August letzten Jahres für vier Personen für eine Nacht ( 17.-18.05.2024) gebucht. Heute ca.vier Wochen vor dem Start unserer Radtour wird lapidar storniert. Scheinbar bin ich nicht der erste dem das passiert. Wenn ich ein Hotel buche schließe ich einen Vertrag den beide Seiten einhalten müssen. Fragen Sie mal Ihren Anwalt. Eine Entschädigung wurde natürlich nicht angeboten. Ich kann dieses Hotel niemanden weiterempfehlen.

Outdated. Beds were uncomfortable and the hotel reeked everywhere. No internet reception in certain areas of the hotel, we had to move room. The foyer stinks and is just so dark, hardly any lighting.

Das Hotel liegt in Donaueschingen in 15 Min. Laufweite zur Donauquelle. Die Lage ist mäßig an einer Bahnlinie und an einer Straße mit Durchgangsverkehr. Eine Fußgängerbrücke zur Überquerungs der Bahnlinie und der Brigach ist aber vorhanden. Schon von außen sieht das Hotel wenig gepflegt aus. Von innen haben wir es nicht gesehen, weil unsere bestätigte Zimmerreservierung für vier Doppelzimmer 4 Wochen später einfach wieder von Seiten des Hotels storniert wurde. Denen ist jetzt eingefallen, dass am Wochenede nicht genug los ist, weshalb sie da das Hotel eben nun geschlossen lassen. So was hab ich noch nicht erlebt. Telefonisch ist vor Ort parktisch nie jemand erreichbar. Auf der Buchungsbestätigung steht eine 0800er Nummer, die es nicht mehr gibt und eine US-amerikanische Nummer für eigene Zimmerstornierungen, die man außer bei einem Einzelzimmer für jede "weitere Stornierung oder Änderung" anrufen soll? Diese Art des Serviceangebots ist einfach nur eine Zumutung.
