Arbiru Beach Resort

I loved my time at Arbiru Beach Resort. I got a complimentary pick up from the airport with a sign with my name on. A welcome drink was given to me when I arrived. The room was very big and spacious. Included a kitchen, dining table, office desk and a big bedroom. Air conditioning worked well and kept me cool. Very good wi fi internet which was reliable. Breakfast was included which had a decent selection. They included a complimentary laundry service which was great. The pool was big and clean. Nice flowers and palm trees around the pool. Sometimes I had the whole pool to myself. The best thing about the place was the wonderful staff. They helped me with booking tours, getting a SIM card and spending time interacting with me. Although this place isn't a "honeymoon resort" , for an adventure in Timor Leste, this is the perfect resort to relax and enjoy.

I just have time to review today after last visit in 27-28 March to Dili. The room space was big divided in to kitchen, living and working room and bed room. Amazing we have this big space. Wifi sometimes had good and weak connection. Breakfast was good. All good except some challenges on water supply and security. At night I may not seen the security guard. Another main problem, the water always stopped in the early morning until around 07.00 am. This was maybe because no one of Hotel staff did not connect the water pump to the electric socket before 07.00 am. Hope in the future this problem is solved. Thank you

Breakfast was basic, eggs, white toast, maybe a piece of fruit. The room was dirty, only a bedcover, long hairs on the floor and I saw 2 large cockroaches. The food is expensive and ordinary. Location is not very convenient without a scooter or vehicle. You are asked to pay in USD cash. The beach out front is all stony and where boats are kept and garbage burned.
