Overall summary, stunning hotel, beautiful scenery, great food and some real gems of staff. ‘Even Better Ifs’ are the a la carte booking system is completely flawed and needs fixing. All pools were not heated as previously advertised and general customer service needs attention. Special mentions go to Tuba in the lobby bar. She was super friendly and worked extra hard! We also loved Mohamed at No Se. He was very attentive and made our meal there just that bit extra special. In the main dining room, we mainly chose to sit in xxxx area. She was like a wizard, working unbelievably fast, always with a smile on her face and you could tell she really cared. Hotel rooms - absolutely stunning, with everything provided that you can think of. All toiletries, cosmetic ‘accessories’ like cotton pads, scrubber, even straighteners and hairdryers which were both great. Fab maid service too. Hotel & Grounds - stunning. Despite the hotel being somewhat large, it was easy to navigate around pretty quickly with all snickets available! The views were also amazing! Food, drinks & a la cartes - Food was great but not exceptional…we’ve had better at Lara Barut, Voyage hotels and Hilton Dalaman. The a la cartes were a nightmare. We were lucky and did eat in them 5 out of 10 nights, but it was so much hassle and stress to get these bookings. I have never had this experience at Lara Barut, Voyage Hotels or Hilton Dalaman. We specifically book these type of hotels in Turkey because of the a la carte options as we prefer to eat in them every night, but this wasn’t possible. The drinks were also good, but again not great. The lobby bar made fabulous cocktails, but the poolside bars had almost premixed cocktails, which weren’t the best. The buffet was good and had great variety, but the food wasn’t hot enough. We also experienced lots of flies, which was annoying, but these weren’t there if you are fully inside. The patisserie was also a hit with our party. They serve the most AMAZING cookies, but get there for 11am as they go super fast. The woman that mainly served us in the patisserie was absolutely miserable though (average height with glasses) Never engaged, always looked annoyed and never acknowledged our ‘hellos’ or ‘thank yous’…..very poor service and quite frankly rude. Pools/Water Park - amazing pools, views and waterpark. However, when I emailed the hotel, when I was thinking of booking, I was specifically told there would be 10 heated pools, inc, the water park. This was a complete lie. One pool (the community pool) was the one mainly heated, then in the latter few days they heated the family one too. The waterpark wasn’t heated until the last 2 days though and was absolutely FREEZING before this! It was unbearable for the little ones. This was a huge disappointment as Turkey is on the cooler side in the month of October. They did report that all pools were heated, but some were c.21 degrees…that is not heated!!!! Our children also suffered with skin ras
