Anda Barut Collection – Ultra All Inclusive

Great all inclusive resort, brilliant for families. Beach could be better, as small area and quite rocky.

Overall summary, stunning hotel, beautiful scenery, great food and some real gems of staff. ‘Even Better Ifs’ are the a la carte booking system is completely flawed and needs fixing. All pools were not heated as previously advertised and general customer service needs attention. Special mentions go to Tuba in the lobby bar. She was super friendly and worked extra hard! We also loved Mohamed at No Se. He was very attentive and made our meal there just that bit extra special. In the main dining room, we mainly chose to sit in xxxx area. She was like a wizard, working unbelievably fast, always with a smile on her face and you could tell she really cared. Hotel rooms - absolutely stunning, with everything provided that you can think of. All toiletries, cosmetic ‘accessories’ like cotton pads, scrubber, even straighteners and hairdryers which were both great. Fab maid service too. Hotel & Grounds - stunning. Despite the hotel being somewhat large, it was easy to navigate around pretty quickly with all snickets available! The views were also amazing! Food, drinks & a la cartes - Food was great but not exceptional…we’ve had better at Lara Barut, Voyage hotels and Hilton Dalaman. The a la cartes were a nightmare. We were lucky and did eat in them 5 out of 10 nights, but it was so much hassle and stress to get these bookings. I have never had this experience at Lara Barut, Voyage Hotels or Hilton Dalaman. We specifically book these type of hotels in Turkey because of the a la carte options as we prefer to eat in them every night, but this wasn’t possible. The drinks were also good, but again not great. The lobby bar made fabulous cocktails, but the poolside bars had almost premixed cocktails, which weren’t the best. The buffet was good and had great variety, but the food wasn’t hot enough. We also experienced lots of flies, which was annoying, but these weren’t there if you are fully inside. The patisserie was also a hit with our party. They serve the most AMAZING cookies, but get there for 11am as they go super fast. The woman that mainly served us in the patisserie was absolutely miserable though (average height with glasses) Never engaged, always looked annoyed and never acknowledged our ‘hellos’ or ‘thank yous’…..very poor service and quite frankly rude. Pools/Water Park - amazing pools, views and waterpark. However, when I emailed the hotel, when I was thinking of booking, I was specifically told there would be 10 heated pools, inc, the water park. This was a complete lie. One pool (the community pool) was the one mainly heated, then in the latter few days they heated the family one too. The waterpark wasn’t heated until the last 2 days though and was absolutely FREEZING before this! It was unbearable for the little ones. This was a huge disappointment as Turkey is on the cooler side in the month of October. They did report that all pools were heated, but some were c.21 degrees…that is not heated!!!! We visited October 24 as a family of 4. What an amazing hotel with fantastic staff, special mention goes to Hakan on the front reception who went above and beyond, his customer service is exceptional. A credit to the Barut team! We stayed in a deluxe family suite, it was perfect. Managed to book in all the a la cartes, our favourite was Tiger. The lunch time a la cartes were also great with a huge choice for all tastes. Adventure park was brilliant both kids especially loved the inclusion of rides in the evening, kept them busy. No part of the hotel felt too busy, no fight for sunbeds! After staying at 5 other Barut hotels previously we can confidently say this is the best. Book without hesitation. We look forward to coming back.

Our holiday at Anda Barut has been nothing short of AMAZING! We have had the absolute pleasure of staying at this hotel for a second time. It really hasn’t disappointed and exceeds expectations on so many levels and we have really loved staying here. There’s so many positive aspects to this hotel and the great staff that keep it running everyday. A few special mentions to the people in the areas of: Overall customer service: Friendly and served with a smile and nothing is ever too much trouble. Ozge, the lady on guest relations was so helpful, professional and accommodating. Thank you! The hotel: Words, photos honestly don’t do this beautiful hotel enough justice. You have to feel and see it for yourself. There clearly has been attention to detail and thought behind everything and it shows. The cleaners do an amazing job in keeping every corner of this hotel clean and tidy everyday. Even the ladies in the restrooms who fold the toilet rolls, you are noticed and appreciated. The grounds and landscaping here is simply beautiful, gardeners do such a great job maintaining it. Spa / wellness centre: Tranquility! Such a relaxing and calming space within the hotel. Offering guests access to the thermal facilities and heated indoor pool. Perfect during the winter sun season. All of the spa team and amazing but a special mention to Duran, Zohra and Selim. So helpful and understanding to our needs throughout the week. Zohra gave the most amazing facials! Thank you! Also to mention the gym, state of the art equipment, various daily classes to suit most. Great instructor ladies in there. We visited the hotel for the second time in November in the very last week of it been open for the season. Prior to arriving we had anticipated some things would be different in respect to the hotel winding down and having less guests. For us the holiday was everything we wanted and needed it to be. We came for a retreat style stay, in luxury and we got just that!
