Bikini Beach and restaurants are a couple of minutes' walk away. The room has everything you need. The breakfast included in the room rate is excellent (choice of continental or Maldivian). Beach towels are provided, but take your own hairdryer. Very friendly and welcoming staff (especially Cody, just a golden guy). The owner of the hotel is a great diving instructor (if you dream of trying - highly recommended). It was very nice to receive a small but sweet New Year's gift! The island has a wonderful beach and an interesting house reef with lots of living creatures (in addition to many fish, there are stingrays, sharks - I was even lucky to see a small manta). If you have sensitive feet (like me), take coral slippers (the bottom is sandy, but there are pieces of coral and where it is deeper, especially). There are many small grocery stores on the island and only two where you can buy sun cream, aloe gel and coconut oil (Saura and another one on the same street, any local will show you). The sun is very active, creams with a high SPF will come in handy. The best excursions are from the Sandy Heaven hotel, the price/quality exceeds all expectations. I will gladly come again!
