The hotel is very nice, it has a wonderful view of the sea, the staff is super friendly and attentive, the food is delicious and at a very good price. They have excursions and buggy service around the island... the island is beautiful and has very nice beaches. The perfect place. Thank you so much to all the staff.

English: I must say that since it is a guesthouse in the Maldives, expectations were not high, but I expected better. The room was ok, the bathroom did not appear to be very clean. Upon arrival, I was not told what time breakfast (and dinner) would be, nor that I had to hang a card (which they did not give me) on the door so that they would clean the room. In addition to this, the first evening, having chosen half board, we were given a menu of dishes to choose from (with only two appetizers and the rest of the dishes were only fish, always tuna, and chicken), but choosing fish we were told that they did not have it (but they gave it to people who came to dinner at the restaurant and they had a different menu than us hotel guests), as well as ice cream and another evening the hamburger. Then, asking what time breakfast would be, we were told around 7:30, but every morning we went down and waited even 50 minutes because breakfast was not ready before 8:20, thus creating problems for us when we had excursions in the morning. The breakfast was extremely poor, never seen it like that. In general: ok that we are in a local island and you adapt to guesthouses, but the reviews I read do not correspond to reality at all, they are misleading.

Good day everyone. I would like to share my review of the Heron Beach hotel. When I was flying, the reviews were honestly 50/50, so I was ready for anything. But I was very pleased with this hotel! Everything is very cool. I arrived at 12:30 at the port of Diffushi and the staff and the owner met me. Upon arrival at the hotel, a wonderful girl Siri met me. She offered me lunch and immediately checked me into room 204 with a view of the city (the view is of course so-so, but I chose it myself, here are the questions about the island). I saw rooms with a view of the ocean, gorgeous rooms and a view. In the room, towels, they give tubes of gel, a refrigerator, air conditioning. Regarding cleaning, there are signs on the doors saying do not disturb or cleaning required. If do not disturb hangs for a long time, then they may not clean, I changed it in the evening to a request for cleaning, they cleaned mine while I was walking around the island. There are no problems with cleaning. In general, I would say about the hotel that I would come here again. I liked the attitude of the staff and the owners. They are very attentive to all the details and fulfill requests immediately. In the reviews they wrote that there is construction and sometimes discomfort, I personally did not pay much attention. The staff is also worried about this and ask the residents if there was any discomfort. The service is at the highest level. They literally run after you. I am a fan of coffee, I probably drank a whole can of them in a week, at the end they already brought a liter mug, thank you again)) Everyone is friendly. Especially Siri and Amal. Greetings to them. I had full board. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner) About the food: I liked the breakfasts. I even ate very much. Sometimes even my lunch dragged on because of satiety. As for the rest ... Dinners were Swedish a couple of times (I liked them). Everything else is on the menu. Of course, over the course of a week you get tired of the food, but overall you will not be hungry. I'm just not a fan of Indian cuisine, but in general there are salads on the menu, pastas (very tasty), soups. My favorite, I ate it for 7 days with mushrooms, creamy soup. Respect to the chef. And so salads and everything else, a selection of seafood and chicken. The owners treated us to non-alcoholic beer. The territory has excellent Wi-Fi. If you order separately from the restaurant menu for an extra fee, there is different food. But overall I liked everything. About the island and beaches .. 🌴🪸 I swam where I wanted 🙈 a very beautiful beach opposite the island with a resort, there is a reef and you can see fish. But on this beach they kick you out of the sun loungers because the sun loungers belong to another hotel. Also a beautiful beach on the other side, there I was filming a reef shark and a lot of fish on the last day. There are sun loungers there too, you can stop. A couple of days I was too lazy to go somewhere and we swam right next to the hotel. There are many souvenir shops and grocery stores on the island. Prices are +-. I bought non-alcoholic champagne for 115 rufiyaa (700₽), papaya for 35 rufiyaa (210₽), other fruits are expensive and not local. Magnets from $5, you can basically bargain with them if you buy a lot. At the airport, some things are cheaper, some are more expensive. The island is generally small. The nature is incredible and the ocean is gorgeous. Good hotel, I highly recommend it and here's why: 1-there is a small private beach with shade and sun loungers. This is a huge plus, because other places don't always have free spaces. 2-the private beach is deep and has some kind of coral reef. In other places the water is sometimes knee-deep or deep, but boats are constantly going, and this is dangerous. 3-the hotel is approximately in the middle of the island, it is convenient to move to all points 4-I took breakfast, bought dinner at the hotel, by Maldivian standards the price is adequate ($ 10-15 on average) 5-the room has a fan, refrigerator, shower, air conditioning, hair dryer, iron, kettle, cups, coffee, two liter bottles of water daily, gel and shampoo. 6-comfortable mattress, good plumbing. 7-staff with a truly individual approach to each client. Siri, a young girl-administrator, is simply wonderful! She flutters like a butterfly and with a smile on her face promptly and efficiently solves all issues. 8-there is a school, a mosque, a construction site, a couple of shops nearby. But the noise doesn't bother anyone. Although this is the case all over the island, since it is only 1 km by 300 m in size.

We stayed at our hotel from November 15 to November 28, 2023. From the first day, the hotel staff surrounded us with hospitality and care, especially Siri and Amal. We settled in immediately. A distinctive feature of the hotel is excellent service, attentive attitude towards guests from absolutely all staff. We highly recommend ocean view rooms. The hotel has a wonderful location, with beautiful beaches and infrastructure nearby. The hotel also has good, fresh rooms, quality mattresses, towels, bed linen, plumbing and air conditioning. The hotel has an excellent chef, all dishes are tasty and fresh, the menu is almost never repeated. We took breakfast and dinner. If desired, it was possible to order lunch for an additional fee. Another feature of the hotel is the restaurant on the beach, 40 meters from the ocean. In the evening, beautiful stingrays come here and you can feed them. The rooms are cleaned very well, the dishes are always clean. Many thanks to the hotel owner for our wonderful stay. We will be happy to return and recommend you to friends. Elena and Ekaterina.

I cannot express my opinion on the guesthouse because I have not stayed but I have been for dinner 4 times and I must say varied menu, excellent food, fair prices and fair portions. The location directly on the sea, the relaxing music, the lights make the atmosphere unique and relaxing. I advise.

the restaurant is very nice, you dine on a terrace on the dry bath and, during dinner we are thrilled by the passage of shark rays under us. Quality food, slow but friendly service. I recommend it for dinner, the atmosphere is beautiful.
