"Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, free parking. Downside bed too soft and lumpy so didn't sleep well, think bed needs changing. Suggestions to management - window lock broken but window closed ok. Put nets or blind on window so can open curtains on ground floor. Suggestion to future guests, no need to buy their breakfast offer in advance as Greggs and Subway next to hotel."

"A delightful place to stay in the West Country close to Devises and the Avon & Kennett Canal. The lounger was large with table and chairs for a meal and a well stocked kitchen as well. The bedroom was very comfortable with an on-suite. The walks around the house were excellent and you are very close to Devises and the Canal walks along the Avon. Lucy the owner is incredibly helpful and knowledgable and was always available. The whole area is so peaceful I can't recommend it highly enough"

"Easy to find. Good carpark. Great welcome. Lift, which we hadn't seen in travelodge before. It has 2 floors, which was new for us too. Nice room, carpets looked new, clean. Good beds, very high. Comfortable cotton bedding. Good lighting, making possible to read in the night, not disturbing much the other persons. Some effort for sorting out recycling waste. Next to the Travelodge, simple eating: subway, greggs, a kebab... On the minus side: poor phone/data signal. Which made contacting the reception by phone at arrival impossible. Fortunately, other guests arrived just after us and had a better connection from outside the building so the desk was attended very quickly. Wi-Fi free 30 minutes only in travelodge. Pillows a bit thick, no choice for a thinner one. Window only open a tiny bit, for security. The main annoyance was the closeness of the main road, busy on a Sunday evening, in the night around 4am, and the morning. If you are not one to take your earingaid off during the night, use something to block the sounds. Or, pay for choosing a room at the back, and avoid the south side when very hot. It was OK for us, the heatwave was over. Thanks for a lovely night on our way."

"Words cannot express how magnificent Prince Hill House is. Lucy has restored it in a manner befitting its history. Lucy had upgraded us to a suite, which was delightful, and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. We were given the choice of having breakfast downstairs or eating at our leisure in our suite. We chose the latter, and Lucy brought everything to us, including delicious homemade jam and yoghurt. We were also lucky enough to be shown around the house before we left and so we were able to enjoy its beauty and learn more about its restoration. We only stayed for two nights, unfortunately, but we hope to return when we visit Wiltshire in the future. Thank you, Lucy, for making us so welcome."
