Lovely staff, amazing room, beautiful views. We stopped here when I dropped my son off at university and it couldn't have been a more peaceful setting. The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you to all the staff who were friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our wedding anniversary at The Hafod. Comfortable room, lovely dinner, great breakfast, Staff team were all welcoming and helpful. The hotel is set in a fantastic location, the walk around the waterfalls is well recommended, though it is not accessible to all.

A beautiful hotel in a good location for lots of the surrounding places of interest. The hotel was very clean and the staff were welcoming and friendly. There is a great sun terrace across the road for a beer or two after a long walk. We enjoyed the food.

Lovely old hotel that has been refurbished to a high standard. We had a nice bedroom with a superb modern bathroom. The dinner bed and breakfast deal is reasonable as the quality of the food is very good. Elan Valley a few miles away is a must if you like superb wild countryside views and walks.

Without a doubt the best meal I’ve had in a long time, The short rib that I had was banging. The whole experience was superb. Beautiful place and beautiful staff. Highly recommended to everyone who is visiting the area. You definitely won’t be disappointed

A really lovely hotel close to Devil's Bridge and the waterfalls walk. Very comfortable with lovely bedroom in the roof. It was very quiet too. Evening meals and breakfast were good too. Highly recommend

As always we had a lovely nights stay with lovely room with a stunning view. Great hearty breakfast and lovely supper. The walk down the gorge is great if you are up for it. This is a well situated hotel to explore mid Wales

Really friendly, welcoming staff and a beautifully clean and fresh smelling room with a fantastic view. Food was delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot at every meal. Beds were very comfortable with quality bedding. Excellent location for visiting Devils Bridge/Waterfalls/Steam Train. Would definitely stay again and also recommend to friends and family. Thank you for a great stay!

Attended a family wedding, the wedding meal was very good, with options available for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. The rooms were very nice, might suggest firmer pillows and a smaller kettle to fit more easily under the tap, but the style of the room was great and they provided welshcakes! I found the staff very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast was very nice, a good choice of hot food. Had to ask for butter for my toast. Thank you for a nice stay.
