Fairfield Inn & Suites Detroit Lakes

We stopped in Detroit Lakes for the trolls and this hotel is located right next to Alexa’s Elixer! Clean and situated on a lake and next to a park, we liked everything about the hotel.

The Fairfield Inn and Suites in Detroit Lakes is a very nice hotel. It's located very close to the water. We arrived shortly before 11 am on the 4th of July. We were planning to leave our bags at the front desk and come back later to get keys to our room. The lady who was working the front desk checked the computer and found that a room was available at that time, and we were able to get into our room. They were very pleasant and it made things much easier and relaxing for us. The room was nice. It was a king size room. The bed wasn't too bad--but my wife felt it was a bit on the hard side. The pillows were a bit on the soft side--in my opinion. We didn't hear a lot of noise from the halls. They have signs by the elevator saying quiet hours start at 10pm, which was nice. The breakfast was pretty good. It's served from 6-9a Monday through Friday and 7-10a Saturday and Sunday. We left Tuesday morning, so getting down by 9:00 on a weekday for something to eat was a little rushed. Hub 41 is located right next door. It's a bar and restaurant with great food and drinks. If you want to try a tasty drink, order the Hub Bulldog. By showing your hotel key you get a 10% discount. There's a small swimming pool, but we didn't try it out as we didn't have a lot of time. I would highly recommend staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Detroit Lakes. I have not issues with going back again.

The stay was good. Rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast was good. Was very disappointed that the pool was closed during our stay. Gym was nice

I was so happy I chose this hotel. It seemed newer or well maintained. The staff were all very helpful , professional and friendly. The daily breakfast was very good . The location was great with the walkable beach right there, a nice park, close to town, etc

Breakfast was good and loved the location and proximity to restaurants, park and grocery store. Would definitely stay there again.

The location was fabulous. Right across the street from Alexa, if you want to view the Dambo trolls, close to the water, convenient to downtown and close to several restaurants. It met all of our needs.

Check in was easy and Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Great location. The Hub Bar is across the parking lot from the hotel. Several other bars and restaurants were within a few blocks. Would definitely stay here again.

The Fairfield Inn was in a great location. Detroit Lake was across the street. There were several restaurants in walking distance. The front desk staff was very nice. The breakfast was very nice, too. We enjoyed our stay.

It was a very comfortable stay and the rooms look recently updated. The pool is a little small but the kids still had fun swimming.
