The swimming pool is great for the children. Closed to the Airport

The room was cool and the water pressure was good and hot in the shower. The hallways smell weird and their bar and all was closed the one night we were there. The front desk staff was very nice though and helpful. The shuttle was very quick to pick us up from the airport and she was very friendly. However, this morning we had breakfast on site and they only knew how to make eggs 1 or 2 ways. She was mostly pleasant. I would have given 2 stars but the staff was worth a star too.

Our kids love this hotel! We try to stay ground level near the pool area but if you would like more quiet I suggest staying furter away in another hallway. They are very accomodating. The front desk staff how been there awhile and it feels more like a family owned hotel when you come back and see friendly faces. Rooms are claen and comfortable. Perfect access to the airport with plently of parking.

Had an early morning flight out of DSM so I booked their Park Stay Go 8 day program. It turned out to be a very good decision. First off, check in upon arrival was a breeze. Aside from the usual process, I was asked to fill out an information card about my car, which I was going to leave in their lot for 5 nights. The room was clean and spacious. Amenities were modern. A very interesting fact is that the bed was a Murphy bed! I found out because I noticed the intriguing design of the bed and decided to explore. I had always wanted to try one, so this was awesome! I also liked the unique central zone under the “Holidome”, which houses a pool, lounge chairs, etc. The next morning, the hotel shuttle bus brought me to the airport, which was only around 5 minutes away. Upon return, I called the hotel and the shuttle came to pick me up within 10 minutes and I was dropped off right beside my car.

Very convenient to airport. You can walk from DSM to hotel. The hotel itself is very dated, the building is very confusingly laid out and it did not feel safe. Every time AC started, it sounded like someone was opening the door. Housekeeping was very loud early in the morning without any consideration that people may be sleeping at 7 am.

I probably wouldn't stay here again. The room was clean but that was about all. These rooms need some help for sure. If you stay in room 361, you are in luck, as the toilet is turned significantly towards the shower. Apparently, Stevie Wonder has a side job installing toilets. There was a piece of tile broken off and fixed with grout and just put back in place. The walls seem very thin and you can hear everything around you. We happened to get neighbors that were louder than heck and got to listen to them all night. The other neighbor left their TV on all night so we got to listen to that. There is no book in the room telling us about the property or the amenities that they offer, therefore we didn't use any dining, the bar, or anything else at the hotel. The staff seems friendly but they don't seem like they want to be there (seems to be everywhere these days). On the last day we went to get some ice and I found black mold in the bottom of the ice machine and it wasn't draining very slowly or at all. BE AWARE WHEN YOU CHECK IN, YOU WILL HAVE A HOLD PLACE FOR THE COST OF THE HOTEL AND THEN WHEN YOU CHECK OUT YOUR CARD WILL BE CHARGED!!! THE HOLD WILL FALL OFF IN ABOUT A WEEK. MOST RIDICULOUS THING THAT SOME HOTELS ARE DOING.

The most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. It felt like it was a slab of wood that they thy threw a pillow topper on to make it feel and look like a mattress. And I had the double misfortune of being there the same time as a kid dance competition so the noise level was borderline unbearable as well

The property is retro (or dated, depending on your point of view) but super well maintained and spotless. Comfortable beds. Only significant complaint is that the bathroom door didn’t latch so we had to brace it shut with a trash can. Definitely would stay again when flying from DSM.

We stayed here for several nights as part of a group event going on; and were here 4 years ago for the same event. The hotel is pretty big and appears to host multiple groups at the same time. We saw a kids sports team and a Veterans group as well. If you're looking for higher end, and a really quiet place, this is not it. My biggest complaint is that the place is not laid out well and is hard to navigate! There is a large pool with rooms all around it. There is no typical breakfast area, but there is a small grill that will make several different breakfasts/lunches. Food did not come with our event/reduced rate. We ate English muffins, snacks and coffee only, which were fine. Some of the foods offered looked pretty good! They bang em' out quickly and bring it to your table. Our room was clean and comfortable. The common areas, like the halls, around the food area and the bathrooms were not always clean. I saw the same food droppings on the floor, near the "bar" type seating area for all the days we were there...doesn't anyone have a broom? My husband could not use the men's room one day, but had to traverse the maze to go back to our room to use the bathroom...the elevators are not all that fast either! The front desk staff was very nice and helpful, although they did tell my husband that they only give out 1 bar of soap per room...he got another. Our room was clean with good wifi and AC. All in all, this place is fine as long as you know what you are in for. If not for our event, I'd likely stay somewhere smaller.
