We booked this property because it was the only one that had a no-pet policy, yet we were awakened in the night by a barking dog. At check-in I was require to sign a one page document saying I was okay with them charging my credit card for $250 as a damage deposit. We wondered what kind of people were staying there that requited such action, and I wish I had noticed this at the time of booking. The room itself was generally fine except for a poorly ventilated bathroom, a coffee maker and clock that didn’t work, and a strange TV with no instructions. The only working ice machine was on the ground floor. On the plus side, breakfast was as expected and the manager listened to my comments about the deposit policy. This property is showing some very noticeable wear despite room upgrades. Unfortunately, like many hotels now, no towel racks in the bathroom. Hard to save the planet (and hotel laundry costs) when you have to leave your towels on the floor.
