Opal Grand Oceanfront Resort & Spa

Check in was easy. They only have valet parking with in and out privileges. I received a Welcome glass of champagne. Room: I was in room 454. It was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. It had a little sitting area with a table. I will say that I encountered a few hiccups when I arrived. They were fixed pretty quickly. I didn’t report the AC, but it would get very humid in the room. I didn’t feel like it was working properly. The room was equipped with a Keurig and a fridge. The Keurig had k cups of coffee, decaf coffee, and tea. You do get bottled water in the room. It is replenished daily. Bathroom: I liked that the sink was outside of the bathroom. The Bathroom was separated by a door. The Bathroom was also spacious and clean. The towels were nice and thick. I love the bathrobes that they provided. The toiletries smelled great. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and bar soap. They also had a little box with cotton swabs and a nail file. The water pressure was great and there was always hot water available. I noticed that they did not have an iron in the room, but I called and they brought it up within a few minutes. They also offered to bring in a microwave. I thought that was super nice. Balcony: the room did have a small balcony with two chairs and a table. It had a partial view of the ocean, but my room was mostly view of the parking lot. The blackout curtains worked great. Pool: the pool was amazing. There was always plenty of lounge chairs. They do stick with the rule of no holding chairs. They also have a covered area with tables and chairs where you can just hang out. They provide towels and water. I also noticed they had some block available for you for free. The attendant walked around, making sure that everyone had what they needed and there was also a waitress that could take your order. Cookies and fruit on were available on each floor daily. Bagged ice was available as well. Gym: it was clean with plenty of machines to include treadmills and weights. They also have free weights available for use. The gym was big. They had towels and water available for use. I like that you had to use your room key to get in, so I felt a little safer exercising at five in the morning. Restaurants: the property has a few areas where you can eat. They have two bars. The rooftop bar is pretty nice. I had a drink, but no food on the property. They do have happy hour specials. You could also order room service or order pick up from one of the restaurants. The hotel is right across the street from the beach. It is also walking distance to all the stores on the main street. There’s a few restaurants right out on the street or you can walk 10 to 15 minutes to the major area with restaurants and stores. If you’re staying longer and want to get some snacks or groceries, there is a Trader Joe’s less than 10 minutes away via a car. Check out was fast and easy. They were able to hold my luggage.

The Opal Grand is a beautiful hotel. The service is amazing. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to treat you like royalty. They were eager to help with anything you might need or want. The pool is fantastic. It’s the perfect temperature with lots of places to sunbathe or lay in the shade. They have bar service or you can eat at or around the bar. We celebrated our anniversary here and will definitely be back.

The Opal Grand Oceanfront Delray is an awesome location, pristine ocean beaches right across A1A, lots of great local fun shopping and restaurants - everything in walking distance. However, you don’t really need to leave the hotel as it has amazingly great restaurants for breakfast or dinner, several cools bars - indoors and outside rooftop. The ambiance, decor and tasty foods of these on premises venues are so compelling you may not want to leave the hotel during your stay, except of course to visit the beach. The renovation a few years back transformed this already beautiful place into a truly wonderful and unique stay. And of course there is more, such as the pool, little boutique store and spa. We have been traveling to this hotel for over a decade now and truly continue to enjoy it every time. Occasionally the are deals that make this marvel even more attractive.

We came to the Opal for a short. ladies trip and had a blast. Our server Ashley was awesome. She literally made the entire experience next level. She offered excellent customer service suggested all the right drinks. She had the best attitude and demeanor and made our experience next level.

I have been to this Hotel many times and always look forward to me next visit. The aroma of the lobby instantly puts you in a tropical vacation relaxed state of mind. The staff is second to none in their personal service professionalism and knowledge of the hotel and the surrounding adventures to discover in Deray Beach. The rooms are ALWAYS clean and usually ready before the 4 PM check in time. The hotel has many food choices and amenities to utilize during your stay.

My family lives local here in Delray Beach and we’ve been going to the Opal grand Hotel for many years. They truly have a special group ofprofessionals that work there. I personally like to think Bobby Mac in the FNB department and his team, also Harris and Kennedy in the front ofthe house, and Sylvia and Danny at the Pool house. The directly across the street from the beautiful ocean, we stayed in the ocean front suite. Bed very comfortable room was ice cold, which was perfect because it was 99° outside. I wanna think the Walsh family for surrounding themselves with professionals people.

Top notch stay at The Opal Grand. Is this a five star resort because it definitely felt like it. Above and beyond service at every single turn. True professionals in every interaction from the bell stand to the valet , front desk, gift shop pool attendants, servers. Everyone smiling and eager to help, seemed like everyone was genuine enjoying working there bravo to the management team. The rooms were clean and gorgeous turn down service such a nice luxury addition. Robes so plush and the spa skin care products , I had to buy some. Drinks at the rooftop were delicious and it was some h fun up there staff happy and fun to talk to. Dinner at Drift was a huge treat. There’s a lot to do in Del Ray but we didn’t want to leave the hotel it had it all. The pool was really nice tons of loungers and the way they serviced and managed it was fair and equitable to all. We were there with 12, 14 and 9 year olds and they all had a blast as well. We will for sure be back. One of the nicest stays I have encountered in a while.

The entire experience at the opal is five star. The aesthetic, vibe and comfort are unmatched. Every year it is more and more family friendly. The staff is so accommodating special shout out to Ashley and Mike with the pool staff, they took great care of our family and answered any and all of our questions. We will come back year after year.

We had the most delightful breakfast. Starting with the hostess, Regina, who arranged our table for 8. Three Sisters with 5 grandchildren. So sweet and attentive. The excellent service continued with our server, Vlad, who was delightful and always smiling. Got the orders perfectly and both made us feel so welcome on our first day. We will return.
