We were passing through Sycamore, IL needing a pet friendly hotel and found this one. This was the most deplorable place I have ever stayed. In fact, a rating of "1" is too generous for this place! The carpets in the hallways were littered with garbage and looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a month. There were cigarette butts overflowing in the outdoor ashtrays and tons more butts scattered all around on the ground near the front and side doors. We could hear the guest in the room next to us coughing and moaning, along with another guest who left their TV on all night. The walls are paper thin so we got no sleep. They must allow smoking on the first floor because it reeked of cigarette smoke. Our shower rod was nearly detached from the wall causing water to flow all over the bathroom floor. The room was very inexpensive but not worth dealing with the nastiness. STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! IT'S DISGUSTING!!!
