Super 8 by Wyndham DeKalb IL

I was charged two times for the same room . One at check out .... and the deposit was refunded . Then 20 minutes after we departed the hotel ...... I was charged again for the same room . When I called the manager .. She said it was refunded .... and charged again. The bank has no refund for that room charge... just a 60 $ deposit . The manager sent me some bogus generic receipt. With no information of my stay , Just a 89$ charge for a room . X2 HOW MANY PEOPLE DO THEY DO THIS TO ..... THAT DO NOT CATCH IT ? I AM THROUGH THAT TOWN ALOT AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR STAY THERE AGAIN.

Was not impressed with the breakfast at all. No hot food except bread for toast. Room was clean. Nice quiet location. Bathroom really small. Bed was comfy. Overall a good stay

They were nothing but nice and accommodating for my daughter and myself. Very clean facility and very professional. Definitely the best value and quality hotel in the area. They have a complimentary breakfast every morning with fresh hot coffee to get your day started. Great energy all around for a wonderful experience, as a whole.

I travel over 150 days a year for my job and stay exclusively in Wyndham properties, so I review each one. The parking lot was clean and well lit on arrival. Check in went smoothly. My room, a queen handicap, was very clean, with a comfortable bed/ pillows and newer fixtures. Room access is via an interior door. WiFi speed was 11.9 megs down, 7.22 up via Ookla. Most of the stated amenities were in place, such as the microwave, small refrigerator but NO single serve coffee maker. (If you advertise something it should be available!) My digital AC/heater worked well. The television had only a basic selection of channels but a good picture. The breakfast area and lobby were very clean. The snack and drink machines were well stocked. There is a small guest laundry, $2.75 to wash, $2 to dry, laundry detergent is available. No fitness or business center available. A good hotel, but if there is another Wyndham property available with in room coffe, I'll stay there. A small thing perhaps but it's important to me personally.

Overall, it was ok. I mean my room was pretty good. the visit could have been better. There were some issues, but they were resolved. These should have not been an issue in the first place. Hoping next time will be perfect!

Noisy drunk high people kept me up all night and my dog barking I stay at the super eight all the time and I don’t usually have problems with the first floor but I stayed this time because there was a convention going on the price was extremely high like $130 high and the service was great but the noise level of the other tenants around camped me and my boyfriend up all night long because of my dog barking because they were being loud and obnoxious and slamming doors till 2 AM
